if your TV lights the indicator when you power it on,, your problem is your back light is busted you can replace that and when the indicator not lights the problem is your power supply you can fix it by finding defective parts by using multimeter usually the trouble that i encounter to power supply is open/change value of resistor leak capacitor and shorted diode and transistor such as regulator you're always welcome

I have the same problem. I fixed it for about 3 months by wrapping duct tape around the large pack midway in the cord (where the wall plug and TV line plug in). But, it started up again this week. I can't get the "box" open either, but that is where the problem is. Mine is mounted to the wall, so no one ever touches the cord. I'll let you know what we find when we get it opened.

It may have shorted out backlight circuits or problem in the 18~24vdc power supply section, the 5vdc is working though. It can also be the main logic board itself.

Check for busted fuse inside your TV, so you can switch it back on. So, open it up. Follow the power cord going inside your TV. The fuse is just near to it. Have it replaced, and have it carefully clean free from dust using 1/2 inch paint brush. Put the case back close, and plug it back to your outlet. Switch it on. Hope this

There is no difference between a 125v and 250v fuse. The most important thing is the 2Amp. This fuse is probably the line fuse and could be the only trouble and may have blow with a line surge. Make sure the 2A you use is a Fast Blow Type. If it does blow again you most likely have a internal power supply failure.

I've been there I think.... You probably blown a 2 amp fuse inside on the DUNTKB128DE03 board. You are having a power issue inside and may need to replace the board. Check the fuse first.

No can do the set cant deal with that signal. turn off prgressive scan on the DVD the signal is still a preaty good one. Only blue ray or HD DVD will get the real HD.

Look at the power board " the one with the fuse" for capacitors that look puffed at the top or leaking at the bottom. If these are leaky the voltage drop will cause the current to rise and pop the fuse. After a time the caps will get bad enough that the set will stop working and may cause more problems.

replace the terminal pcb part # DUNTKB128DE03 you may be having a short in the secondary power supply. you can get the manual here https://www.vancebaldwin.com/shop/research_new/SHA/LC20B2UA.pdf to help you better trace the short. it can also be the main board too better to chase the problem than to make guesses.
