It can be a bad PSU, a bad, color engine or indeed one of a myriad of things that can cause this. One simply MUST perform the troubleshooting steps to isolate and locate the fault. To do this, at least, one needs a service manual, accordingly please find the links above to download a copy if you want to DIY?However imhpo, the very best thing you can do to effect a repair is to contact a local or head office from Sharp, and ask them for a referral to an authorised service center, now make contact here and either ask for a service call or take the unit in, in any event when face to face ONLY ask first for a "Quote" as to what's wrong and prospective costings and go from there.imhpo In My Professional Humble Opinion.

Could you please tell me if my LC-32GA5E tv can
This is an HD ready TV and can definitely be used with Sky HD, but ONLY if the Sky box is connected to the TV with an HDMI cable. It will not work if connected with a scart cable.
So you need 2 things. Firstly, you need to buy an HDMI cable (see picture) if you haven't already got one. Secondly you need to locate the HDMI sockets on your TV and Sky box. The sockets will have the HDMI logo (see picture) next to them.
Please rate my solution if you find this helpful. Thanks.

Connecting laptop to TV
Depending on the brand of laptop, there should be a hotkey (Key combination) that you press to activate a presentation mode.
On my Dell it's Fn (Function) + F8.
Also, you have to have your TV set to the Video or AUX mode that the s-video cable is hooked up to. (Like AUX1/Aux2, or Video1/Video 2) Your best bet is to cycle through them slowly once you activate the presentation mode on your computer, or identify it by the markings near it on the back of the TV.
Sometimes I have to hit the hotkey a few times until my computer and TV 'like' each other.
If this doesn't help, comment on the solution post and we can try more ideas. :)
Hope this helps!

Sharp Aquos LC-32GA3E turning off and on
this is not i a job you should do your self as it could do more damage than good this would be a job for a tv repair person.
QUESTION FOR YOU : are you running the tv straight from the power in the wall or a extension cord.
as an extension cord could definitely cause this problem too.

LCD Panel CHange
Typically if the panel requires changing, it is less expensive to replace the entire unit. Why do you think the panel is bad? Unless it has been dropped, it is rare for the panel to fail.

Channel name disappears
Hello,
there should be an info button on the remote. By repeatedly pressing this button you should achieve to have it on the screen constantly.
Best regards,
