What size fuse amp do ineed 4kompesser2000 driver seat ajustment
Fuses are incorporated in circuits for a good reason; to protect components and wiring in the event of a current overload.
If a lower rated fuse is installed in a circuit, it will blow under normal load conditions as it is rated for lower power usage.
If a higher rated fuse is used in a circuit, it would not blow before a overload causes damage to circuit components or causes a overheating condition and possibly a fire.
Therefore, it is essential that the correct fuse be used in the circuit it was designed for...
Your particular auto may have a fuse diagram in the owners manual, or printed iside the cover to the fuse panel - if not, ask a dealer for the correct fuse designation. The fuse diagram should show the size fuse needed for the seat controls.
IF the fuse you are blowing is the correct size, STOP using the seat controls until you have the problem troubleshooted by the dealer or a good mechanic.

Looking for the fuses to the engine cooling fans for a ford 500
Your problem may not only be the fuse for the cooling motor - it could be connected to the themostat control unit that orders the fans to run.
In either case, I would suggest buying a Haynes Manual for your specfic car ( Most Auto parts stores like Auto Zone carry these books) and look up the chapter on engine cooling for help.
I don't have one for Fords, but the one I use for my Chevy has paid for itself ten times over in troubleshooting and repairs.
Good Luck.
2004 jeep Liberty. where is the cigarette lighter fuse
Most owner manulas provided with the vehicle have a section that identifies fuses for specific items/ circuits.
If you don't have this manual, try this:
Cigarett lighters draw a lot of power, so they would not put it in a circuit that only uses 20 amps or less.
You can pull (one-by-one) the higher-rated fuses until you get to one that is blown. You can see a blown fuse by looking through the body of the fuse and detect a break in the wire inside.
When you find such a fuse, identify its value by a number inscribed or printed on its body and replace it with a new fuse of equal value.
Need to locate the fuse for license plate in a 2004 Gmc Savana
The license plate light (i assume that's what you are asking about) is tied to the parking lights. If the parking lights don't work then look for that fuse (owners manual). If the parking lights work then either the bulbs to the license plate are burned out or there is a broken wire or bad connection somewhere feeding the license plate lights.
What kind of fuse is used for the backup light and where is it located on a 2003 Buick Century?
the fuses used by gm are called mini maxi fuse. they are the smaller plastic fuse and the color designates amp rating. there are two locations where a fuse block could be, one, open drivers door and in the side of the dash, is small access door, remove as this is the fuse block cover, the other is in the trunk behind the carpet on left or drivers side. but i do believe, as i do not have a schematic in front of me, that the back up lamps are the same fuse as marker lights. but either way, if only the back up lamps are inop then its not the fuse. i have had this issue before that on the transmission is a two wire connector that hasnt been connected. does all lights on PRNDL indicator in gauge area work correctly? if not then you may have a prindl switch problem. the other problem area to look at, is when you open the trunk the wires that follow along the hindge gets caught up and pinched in the rubber seal when trunk is shut, if this is true then solder and heatshrink new sections of all wires, any other issues, like the trunk electric release button not working? the only other thing would help me would to be is the gear shifter on the steering column or on the floor? ie which engine is in it? 1.8, 2.0 2.2 2.4 , 3.1 3.4 3.8, 5.3? Diagram of fuse box on 2000 vw new beetle
I cannot help you with the make of your vehicle but I once had random blowing of fuses in my Chrysler Spirit car. Sometimes the fuse would blow in a couple of days and sometimes a week or two would go by before the fuse would blow. I took a blown fuse and soldered a very small 12 bulb across the fuse's ends and pushed the combination- blown fuse/bulb into the fuseholder. One night as I opened my car door, this bright light came on and I knew that the cause of the intermittent blown fuses was somewhere inside of the door. I removed the panel and found that the insulation had worn off some wires. I taped the wires using electrical tape and had no further problems. Len at www.oshawarocks.com
