I have a Casio TV-880 C handheld tv. The unit

Hello,

to solve the problem, you need to check those part of the hand-held TV that is responsible for visual display. You will be checking the screen flex, screen inverter and picture board.

This will involve you getting a screw driver that will fit into the screws of the Casio TV-880 C handheld tv, unscrew the screws, dismantle the TV in order to vain access to the internal part or components of the TV.

Check for any of the above mentioned in the TV and you can fix the fault from there.

Take care.

Is this portable tv have an ATSC or a NTSC tuner?

Hi!
The Casio TV-880 has an analog tuner, and as such wont be able to receive and decode digital television transmissions. It won't work after February 2009 for American TV transmissions.
Hope this helps!
