Honeywell Vista-20pul - Commercial Alarm Questions & Answers
My Honeywell Safe model 5005W keeps beeping, even though I put new batteries in it. What do I need to do, to shut it up?
The batteries must be installed before using your safe. The battery compartment is located inside the safe on the lock cover panel.
Note: If both green and red LED's are on, it is an indicator that the batteries are weak and must be changed immediately. The User Code will not be erased if power is restored by replacing the
batteries within 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, the User Code will be erased and will need to be reprogrammed. Weak or dead batteries should be replaced immediately and all 4 batteries should be changed. To replace the batteries please follow STEPS 1 - 3. Remember to always remove batteries from safe if not using for an extended period of time. If your batteries are completely dead and you cannot o pen the safe by using the digital keypad, use the override access key to open safe
and access the battery compartment. The use of Non-alkaline or rechargeable batteries is NOT
RECOMMENDED.

Password reset for honeywell dvr
first ensure the DVR is attached to your router, then you will need to contact Honeywell tech support. They will ask for the MAC and serial number. They will give a temporary password. It is important to change the password once unlocked, because the temporary password will not continue to work.
Keypad restarting at random
Sounds like you have a power issue. Check the current output of the positive terminal. You need to do this by connecting an ammeter in series with all wires that are currently connected to the positive terminal of the control panel.
Honeywell alarm sytem 94 on the screen ??
It means that there is something wrong with the phone line. Check for dial tone on the red and green terminals. If you don't have a test set, then check for DC voltage. It should be about 48 volts with all phones on hook. The voltage will drop when someone picks up a phone.
Honeywell vista 20 wire 107 109 trouble message error on key pad what does this mean? also found 1 expander led light off and those zones are open, i attempt bypass now all are in trouble?
Let's start with the 107 wire expansion fault your getting. Yes that is the wired expansion/zone expander wired to the data bus which is the same four wires that the keypads use. Their should be a schematic on the door of your panel but they should be on terminals 4,5,6,7 on your main alarm panel. Aux power positive, Aux power negative, Data A/IN, Data B/OUT. That message on the keypad is telling you that that expander is not communicating. Take a multimeter and check for 12 volts DC on the bus connections at the expander. They should be the red and black wires. Be sure to check the labeling on the circuit board though. Start there and let me know.
