Creative is hopeless....I have had asked their support team in HK about the same problems but, they often gave execuse not providing support...advised me to throw it away and buy a new one...They are BS

push down the navigation/on.off button, hold it.....remove the battery ..wait for a few secs...and replace it back .....then .........it will reset back

Hi This could happen when the partition where the firmware resides got corrupted.
Get the latest firmware from Creative site. Remove the battery. holding the navigator key insert the charger power. You may be able to start the unit in Service mode Format the drive.  upload the latest firmware downloaded and ready. Let the device restart.
Cross your fingers. Your Muvo would be up and running!!

DELETE MP3 PLAYER AND REDONLOAD IT OR THERES ANOTHER ONE TRY VLC MEDIA PLAYER ITS FREE.

you can find a complete list of firmwares on the creative website by clicking here and following the link just make sure you click the 4gb model not the 1.5gb. and that should be everything youll ever need for a creative nomad muvo2.

To delete,Open media player* plug in mp3/4* highlight song/s* right click mouse and choose delete

certain models let you remove songs directly from the mp3 player but some dont if you plug it in to the computer a file in My Computer should show up called removable disk E where you can treat the mp3 player like any other folder if you right click on the icon for a specific song it will delete it from the mp3 player but it wont show up in the recycle bin because it was never actually on the computers hadrive

i think u have to open the folder root,the guestion is how u can open that folder root it is simple just click menu and then go direct to the folder root.i think i have answer ur guestion.

Try reflashing the firmware for your device you can find the latest firmware and flashing utilities from the manufacturer?s website. Make sure that you back your music up first because when you do this you are setting it back to factory settings.
