How to turn on webcam

The quickest way to find your webcam is to click start, type in "web" it should be on the top of the search, then just click to open it. If it is disabled go to your control panel, click hardware, then Divice Manager. It will bring up your system Devices. Click on Imaging Devices. It will bring up your webcam, click it, then then click "Driver." Click to enable it. Some laptops may have a "hotkey" to turn it on, the key will usually have a camera icon, it is an "f" key. Mine does not, so I cannot tell you which key. Does this help you? Ponder/Meditate/Pray for Peace. Mary Oliveau { hugs }

I cant restore my HP Probook 4525 to the factory settings. I have no discs and I need to restore to original

Manufacturers often provide a pre-installed factory restore utility. Have a look in your all programs menu and see if you have anything like that installed as this would be the most straight forward option for you.

I need to turn off

Hello,

you do not need to install any special software.

Here is what you have to do to turn off the mouse pad of your hp probook 4525s;

Turn on your hp probook 4525s, wait till it boots completely.

Click start,

Scroll to Control Panel select Control Panel.

Under control panel, (you will find a Mouse icon), click Mouse and a dialogue box will pop out.

On the dialogue box, click "Device settings".

Under device settings, you will find "Synaptics Touchpad..."

Highlight the "Synaptics Touchpad..." by clicking on it once, then click disable.

By now the mouse pad should be disabled. Apply the changes for it to take affect.

To enable follow the same procedure and click enable using an external USB mouse.

Yours sincerely.

HP G72-253NR Laptop - Using an External Keyboard

I think you have a broken USB keyboard or USB port. Simply plugging in the keyboard should be enough to make it work. First try the keyboard in a different USB port. Test the caps lock to see if the LED goes on and off. Also try a different keyboard and also test it in a different computer.
