Well, this is most obviously an "error code" built in for the purpose of debugging, perhaps if you inform me as to how many beeps it does? how long after powering on it takes to beep? Does the power light come on? Is the power light the standard (normal) color it always is? Do you see anything on the screen? And does the remote power it on? First of all I must how much water leaked inside and was it actually water or something else?

Most of the time if the set was off and you left it off for a couple of days the water would simply evaporate and the set would continue to work.

I have seen other things spilled into sets, like plant water with fertilizer or etc. that cause corrosion and will cause the printed wires, the PC board traces, to actually corrode and the set will fail. If that is the case then wait until it's completely dry and take it to a shop. If it's just a few corroded traces it will be easy to fix... if not then it might be a major repair depending on if something was actually damaged or not.

Take your board to the local TV repair shop. They will be able to replace the individual micro switches and save you a small fortune replacing the whole control board.

with your new flyback transformer ther should have had a resistor and cap in the kit.if you look at the fly back from the rear ,on the right side very close to the transformer.and on the other side 3 resistors one has changed value about 38k-ohm.

RCA video cables handle analog signals. HDMI cables carry digital video signals. You need a converter. Most modern tv remotes are not normally designed to be repaired. You will possibly need to replace it. there are plenty of cheaper after market version that will do the job just as well. Your other option, and yes I know this is a silly answer, when you want to mute the TV is to simply press the volume down button to zero then turn it back up when you want sound.
