HAve you a manual for it as I have not got a manual. Do you know if I can get one or download one..I do not know how to play video

Turn the unit on then press the 'vcr/dvd' and 'disc menu' buttons on the unit together and hold down until the unit reboots

Open up the unit. Find the DVD carriage you might be able to extract the DVD this way, but if you are not find the DVD carriage load and umload motor and manually turn it. This will eject the DVD.

Press menu button then press 7935, if like me you bought a display model it will be set to hotel mode, this hides all the menus, once accessed switch hotel mode off, job done x

try pressing plus and minus channel on the tv at the same time. works with my daughters tv

Switch on t/v press TV / DVD button on remote to ensure it is in TV mode. Select DVD by pressing

AV button once or by using input select menu

Press TV /DVD button until DVD RC appears on top left (The remote is now set to DVD mode)

Insert disc ensuring label is to rear of set and Auto play function will start

Did you check the casing for a reset button (sometime it an itty ***** hole)

use a cleaning disc on thed dvd drive in the tv

If it is new then take it back to where you bought it

This may help if the tv as a 3.5 ear phone socket try your earphones & see if the sound works if it do's then its prob the switch in the ear phone socket that's @ fault and norm inserting & pulling out the ear phone plug a few times can clear it

Most Big box stores have a DVD cleaner disk, located in the electronics section, which is fairly inexpensive. I would try that first.
