You do know that those have a fuse in them don't you? I would check that.

I got it to work with code 12002. I have the Comcast DVR Remote.

Almost all TVs have component audio output jacks. Buy a connector that has red and white jacks on one end an a headphone on the other. 3.5 mm or 1/4 in. Plug the headphone into the jack.

Usually, on TVs of this type, you will have a MENU or DISPLAY or STATUS button which you will press. This brings up the first of the status settings. Press again and you'll go to the next one, etc. When you reach the one you need, you will either press the volume UP or channel UP button to change the status to what you want. When complete, the completed function will simply disappear from the screen if no activity is noted within a few seconds. Good luck
