Just follow the color code of where the wire suppose to go, it's like a puzzle, but it's that your following the Bi-Amp wiring on the back of the unit of your amplifier output

pull the cover off and on the circuit board on the bottom of the unit you will see a row of fuses

Never ever replace a fuse with a bigger one, you are lucky the unit did not blow up and statrt a fire. When a fuse blows there is usually a reason.There is a short in the main power supply or the output stage. You will need to test for shorts on the main transformer, B+ rectifiers and the main filter capacitors. If that does not show any shorts, you will need to test the audio output circuits for shorts on the audio output IC's. Good Luck

The problem is in the laser pickup assembly, try a cd cleaning kit and follow instructions, if this fails the whole assembly will need to be replaced, not cost effective to repair, cheaper to replace.

I would say it's the main power supply. Try looking for a short in there using a multimeter

Could be the belt for driving the cd tray door has come off one of the pulleys.. I had similar problem with a Marantz CD Player.. I could stop it making a noise by pulling the door out, setting the disc and pushing back in.. THis allowed me to at least play the cd's.. To set the belt onto the pulley wheels I had to dismantle unfortunately.. If you're feeling competent it can be done.

That problem is usually due to worn or stretched belts. Try replacing the belts or use a rejuvination liquid.
