I have a samsung neo 32 inch picture tube tv.

That high pitched sound is likely the Horizontal Output section trying to work. It operates at 15,750 Hz or at the upper end of normal human ears.
It will sound like a high pitched whine.

This is a section or your television that you don't want to fool with unless you are quite familiar with servicing your set. There are very high voltages involved and only a qualified technician should tend to this defect. It maybe easy to fix or it may be quite involved. Get an estimate first then decide to go further or not. There is a potential fire hazard here so don't operate your set until this is resolved.

We have a Samsung 27" Dynaflat HD that won't turn on.

I have over 10 years experience in electronic tech support.

I know this isn't what you want to hear, but the problem you've described can't be fixed with troubleshooting. Your TV will have to be repaired. There is a part that has developed a defect and needs to be replaced. The question will be, is the part still available? Before paying a TV repair person $75+ to diagnose the problem, ask yourself if you're willing to pay $150 minimum to fix this particular set. Also keep in mind that most TVs that old have a very limited number of replacement parts still available. Normally it will cost at least $75 to have the set looked at by a repair shop (diagnostics). If the part needed to complete the repair isn't available, you won't get that money back.

I hope I've provided you useful assistance and that this information allows you to make an informed decision as to how to proceed from here.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

I lost my color on my tv

If the cable was an SVideo, it's possible you might have a broken pin. Losing one of the 4 pins would still give you a picture but it would be in Black and White. Check both ends of the cable and if one is missing, get another SVideo cable.

Tye Dye Picture Always!

Is this an Analog TV with a picture tube? If so, it sounds like the screen is magnetized. Have you had any magnets (including speakers) near the screen?

Inside all analog TVs is what is called a degaussing coil. When you turn on the TV for the first time (cold), the degaussing coil is energized for a couple seconds to demagnetize the screen and then it goes off.

You can purchase an external degaussing coil and demagnetize the screen youself. A degaussing coil looks like a small hula-hoop about 6-8 inches in diameter with a AC line cord attached. I've even made these coils out of long lengths of enameled wire, electrical tape and a line cord.

Once itas plugged into the wall outlet, you hold it close to the screen (1/2' away) with the hoop facing the screen and move the hoop in a circular pattern, covering all areas of the screen and slowly move the hoop away from the screen while still moving in a circular patten until your about 2-3 feet from the screen.

If you did it right, the color splotches will be gone.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance to you or help you to locate one of these coils.

It's possible that the coil in your set is bad.

Good Luck!

Why is my Samsung plasma tv screen becoming dark suddenly meanwhile it's on and still functioning

Hello. You can check HDMI cable in this case. If you're using an HDMI port that's not working well or has been damaged, it could result in a darker-than-usual screen. If you switch the cable or change devices and the TV is at a regular brightness, this is the case.

Samsung 55 TV White vertical patches?

It sounds like you might be dealing with backlight bleeding or an issue with the LED backlighting in your TV. This can sometimes occur over time due to normal wear and tear or manufacturing defects. If it started as a faint single brighter section and has now expanded to four, it's likely a hardware issue. While it may not be an easy fix, contacting the manufacturer's customer support or a professional technician would be a good next step to diagnose and possibly repair the problem. If you'd like, you can share the pictures for a more accurate assessment.

Samsung VHS VR8360C - if i use a three colour av cable on the VHS end and go to an HDMI connector at LG tv end will this work or do I need a converter?

The old yellow, red, white RCA cables are analogue signals, while HDMI cables only carry data. They are in no way compatible. You can buy active conversion boxes that will convert analog to digital, but simple cables cannot work

Remote code for Samsung remote to LG tv

It can't be done. The Samsung remote will be single frequency for that Samsung device only and the LG remote for that television (or series) only. Companies don't make cross-control between makers easy. The only exception is cable and satellite boxes to allow their remote to also control the television. If you have lost a remote or it doesn't work, this is the answer https://www.fixya.com/support/r29872378-universal_remotes_no_facsimile_remote ..
