In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.
Before going further; try a hard reset first. If it does not help you, replace the main digital board. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; visit the site linked here.

Where can i buy a new remote mine got water damaged
It depends on the TV (make/model). Do you have an Input or Source button on the TV? Then you can use that button to change your input. A few models will offer an alternative option to change the source from the menu and have a Menu button on the TV. (Some TVs only let you change the source from the remote.)Some remotes are available from the manufacturer's parts store (Sony, for example).
remotes.com has the exact original or a replacement remote for many brands. For other TVs, a universal remote may work. Look for a higher end universal remote with a Source or Input button. Then test all of the codes for your TV brand. (Some codes may only enable parts of the remote functions; make sure you find a code that lets this button work.) The remotes that can be programmed with a USB connection to a computer are the easiest to set up for this situation. Please add a comment with the specific make and model of your TV; I'll try to find a source for an exact replacement remote. Cindy Wells (some really old TVs let you swap from AV1 to AV2 to channels by going up or down through all channels to reach a point where you could swap the inputs.)

I have a d:4742m 47
No pictures can be due to no 24vdc for the backlight, bad T-CON board (have backlghts but no pictures).
Please try below first:
First, look at the screen in darkened room to see if you can see any slight glow from the screen, if it does, then the problem can be the T-CON (not getting the 12vdc) or the main logic board not feeding the signals to the T-CON board.
if not, next place to check will be the power supply module, make sure it has 24vdc which is required by the backlight inverter to work, the reason for not having 24vdc can be from bad DC filter caps (leaking/bulging top, high ESR) or short circuits in the inverter board which will cause the 24vdc supply to go into shutdown mode, so you may have to disconnect the power cable that feed the inverter board to see if the 24vdc will work without the inverter board hookup, you will need to apply about 3~4 amp of load to the 24vdc to make sure it can handle that. There are fuses on the backlight inverter boards also. So there is some troubleshooting you will have to do to find out the causes of the problem you are having.

I need a new power
Most of the flat pannel tv have a standard D shaped removeable cord. all most all computer pc's use the same cord. they should all be three prong. unless you are not in the usa. Most people will have atleast one of them around. good luck.

I Have Lost My Remote To My Studio Standard RS-912
If you have switched off it by using power button to its remote control, you must have its remote control to switch it back on. Anyway, try pressing the Ch up or Vol up buttons once. In rare cases, this might make it switch back on.
