Everstar Portable Air Conditioner MPK-10CR - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Is the vent hose on this unit supposed to get really hot?
yes it is normal . most of these have a flexable metal tube that vents them , you can use a dryer vent tube but it will get hot and even melt a little
these units do not have a long service life so don't waste your money on factory replacement parts , just use the way you are till it's used up.

Water leaking
Water can fall off of coil prematurely, before it reaches the drain pan, sometimes due to debris on the coil surface, airflow turbulence in the return air box, and in some instances I've never resolved until the machine was replaced. The drain pan could be cracked or have blocked channels that allow water to drain from the rear to the front. It could also have ice on it/freezing up. Some will developed a thin sheet of ice and drip water. The drain line may be stopped up or broken/loose fitting. Some coils have a laminate on the aluminum fins that can deteriorate. Hope this gives you something to check!

Hello
How can I disassemble my
Why do you need to dismantle this? Some of these types of cooler do not have replaceable parts inside. They are usually classed as a "Throw away" machine. It is often easier and cheaper to replace it than repair it.
