Hi Charlie,

Reset default camera says busy
Give the camera some time. Don't remove the battery till the reset is done. I hope your battery was charged before you started the reset.
If the battery runs out of power, you must charge it comlpete, before putting it in again. I hope the reset went well. If not only try a reset with a fully charged battery.
Time/date won't retain
The camera's internal date/time "backup" battery is supposed to maintain the date/time for about 3 weeks with the camera turned off. If the camera is not used for a longer period, the date/time will need to be reset. If you are having to reset sooner than that, it is likely that the internal battery (not user replacable on most models) has failed.
Fully charged battery reads as a dead battery in camera.
hi,
it could be a software problem. if the camera doesn't get the battery's information this will occur the center terminal of the battery must be clean, similarly the contact inside the camera.
if it works for a little while, try to reset to default manner.
Why my canon pc 1201 is not turning on ?
I'm assuming that the camera has worked properly in the past and that this is a new issue. You've replaced the batteries with fully charged ones and they are the correct, recommended batteries. I ask because some prefer Alkaline, some Lithium, some rechargeable, etc. Also ensure that the individual battery output power as listed on the battery, is in line with your camera's requirements. Your owner's manual will provide this information.
If everything is correct and you still have same issue, it could be that the camera's internal computer has gone bad. Contact customer service and even if you no longer have a valid warranty, they can still refer you to one of their authorized service centers.
How do I play videos?
It works just the same as you view your photos, only the video clip will show player buttons at the bottom. Use the left/ right and select buttons of the camera to play the video clips.
