Use SanDisk MP3 Players SanDisk is an electronic device manufacturer that creates various types of MP3 players under the SanDisk Sansa product line. The SanDisk MP3 players range in storage capacity, starting at 512mb, and are intended to operate on the Windows operating system. Most SanDisk MP3 players also include a built-in video player with a color screen, an FM radio tuner, and a memory flash card slot to expand the MP3 player's storage capacity. Use SanDisk MP3 players to take your computer's MP3 library with you and listen to music wherever you go. 1. Verify that your computer meets the operating specifications required to sync the SanDisk MP3 player with the PC. All SanDisk MP3 players require Windows XP or later; Windows Media Player; and a USB 1.0 port. A USB 2.0 is important if you want high-speed music syncing. 2, Check that the SanDisk MP3 player has a full battery charge. All SanDisk MP3 players have a rechargeable lithium ion battery, and some SanDisk devices have a replaceable battery. The battery icon on the top right-hand side of the SanDisk MP3 player's screen displays the current status of the battery's charge. If the battery is low, recharge it before using the SanDisk player for the first time. To charge, connect the player to your computer's powered USB port using the included USB cable. The SanDisk player's screen will display a yellow charging icon. Unplug when charging is complete. 3. To turn on the SanDisk MP3 player for the first time, unlock the "hold" switch on the top of the MP3 player by sliding it so that the orange tab does not appear. Then, press the "power button" once. Wait for the SanDisk MP3 player to respond. The thumbweel of the player will flash a light and the screen will turn on to display the player's menu options. Turn off the SanDisk player by holding down the player's power button for two seconds. Wait for the screen to display "Goodbye" before releasing the button. 4. Practice resetting the SanDisk MP3 player to solve critical software errors and to fix the MP3 player if it freezes. To reset the player, hold down the power button for fifteen seconds. This resets the MP3 player to its original factory settings and can help resolve any problems you encounter while using the SanDisk MP3 player. 5. Connect the SanDisk MP3 player to your computer using the included USB cable. Once the computer has sensed the connected device, the SanDisk player's screen will display "Connected" and the SanDisk Portable Media Player will be listed under Other in your computer's My Computer window. 6. Add music to the SanDisk MP3 player. Double-click the Portable Media Player listed in the My Computer window. Double-click the Music folder. Select the MP3 files that you wish to load onto the MP3 player and drag them into the Music folder. The player will load them into its internal memory and make them available for playback once the device is disconnected from the computer. 7. Sync your MP3 song playlists from Windows Media Player to the SanDisk MP3 player. Create a playlist in Windows Media Player and connect the SanDisk MP3 player to your computer (see Step 5). Once its connected, Windows will display a dialog box. In the box, click "Sync digital media files to this device." In the next window, click Set Up Sync. In the menu, click Personal Playlists and then select the playlists that you wish to transfer to the SanDisk player. Click the Add button then push the Finish button to transfer your Windows Media Player playlists to the MP3 player.

Sandisk Sansa E250 screwup

Hi, you might be able to get back the operating software by using a software repository (ie softonic or softpedia) or the Sandisk website to upload the installation material onto your music player. Then after the player is functioning properly again, you can download your past music to the player from your computer. Thank you.

How to unlock my SanDisk MP3 Player that i bought in a Federal Prison

Hello, Steve - There is more than one provider of prison commissary MP3 players. I believe the Federal Bureau of Prisons SanDisk MP3 players (and the music for them) are sold through Advanced Technology Group (ATG). Regarding the ATG Federal prison provided MP3 player, see the information here: http://www.corrlinks.com/MP3Reset/ On that page, choose the link for Working MP3 Player Released Inmate. Note: You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader software (free.) The document for that link is a PDF document. Follow the instructions provided in the 2-page PDF document. In case you need to contact ATG Reset Service (where you will send your MP3 for release of the player and downloaded music), this is the telephone number: 515-453-9520 and this is the email address: http://www.a-t-g.com/ Source of phone # and email address: Better Business Bureau https://www.bbb.org/us/ia/west-des-moines/profile/computer-system-designers/advanced-technologies-group-inc-0664-32020043/complaints Best wishes.

My SanDisk records my voice muffled. The device is attached to my shirt about 15-20cm. from my mouth. I am reading from and explaining a book which is held in front of me. I'm sitting in a small kitch

Sound travels at 1140 ft/sec or 347.472 meters/sec. At a vocal frequency of say 347 Hz for a male this would have a full wavelength of 1m. To cancel a frequency would need a 180 degree phase shift, where negative air pressure cancels out positive pressure. In other words, it takes about 1/2000sec for sound to pass from mouth to mic directly, and guessing around 1/500 sec to reflect from book back to mic. Add to this the fact that higher frequency consonants such as 'T' and 'S' sounds may range 8000 Hz to 10000 Hz which shortens the wavelength, it is very possible that some reflected sounds are cancelling the higher range, causing muddy sound. Try experimenting by moving book away or re-positioning the PVR.

How do you connect rca recievcer that has bluetooth capablilty to my sandisk connect

To connect devices over bluetooth you must be sure the bluetooth stacks are compatible. So check the manuals from both systems and see what bluetooth stack they are using and with what stack(s) they are compatible. And while you are checking the manuals, see how to setup the connection. Not knowing what devices (models) you have, I can't look if I have a manual. And for that reason I could not look that one up. Sorry.
