If you wish to buy its original remote control, contact the authorized service centre, or authorized dealer to your device brand. They can either give you a genuine remote control to your device, or can direct you, from where can you purchase a suitable one.
To select a proper universal remote control, you should know about the number of digits to its set-up codes. There are 3 digit, 4 digit, 5 digit, 2 digit and even single digit codes, to some brand devices. After confirming this, check the sites linked here. Both the sites have set-up code list and set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. Check which brand remote control has set-up code/s to your device brand, and buy that one according to availability.
Brand name of the remote control isn't a matter, but it should have set-up codes in its code list, to the device brand you have.
Please note: Every new universal remote control will have set-up code list, and set-up procedure along with its pack. Never accept a remote control, that hasn't both of this. For more details about the set-up codes, visit the site http://electrohelponline.blogspot.com/ Check this site too. http://remotesearch.blogspot.com/ Universal remote controls are available at most of the electronic spare part selling shops.
Type in the brand name of your device, in the search box [at the top right] of the display window and the Search will start at once as you type in, and will show you all the related posts. It will make surf easy.

Hello Michael, for what you are saying, it is very possible that the rear lighting of the LCD panel is not working, usually two or three LEDs are burned, these come mounted in strips
To make a good repair, you have to change all the LEDs or replace all the LED strips
I give you the link of a video of another Vizio TV model, which shows you how to replace the LED strips
I hope you can solve the problem
Greetings Franco Dosil

It could be many things but i would start with the power supply board with the power problem, could just be bad capacitors, which is so common on tv and monitor power supplies.

However, the colored lines could be an even worse sign that the mainboard failed if the power supply output voltages are good.

I would start with checking the voltages from the power supply board, if your lucky the voltages are labeled at one of the connectors. If all the voltages are what they should be, and you don't see any bulged capacitors, then its most likely a failed mainboard. Not much you can do to repair them, just have to find a replacement, which in itself can be difficult!

On the remote, press the "MENU" button to go to the "Menu" screen, select "TV Settings" with the arrow keys, and press the "OK" button. Then go to "Device Setup" and press "OK". Go to "Input Source" and press the arrow keys until "Antenna" appears, then press "OK".

Select the "Tuner" option and press "OK". You may see an option to scan channels. Select it and press "OK". The TV will scan both analog and digital channels and can take an hour to scan all. Just wait and watch the "Found channel" count. If it does not increment, your antenna may be bad or not connected correctly.

The Vizio tuner is good enough to find over 14 digital channels with a cheap $10 flat digital antenna taped to my window.

Most Vizio TV sets can use either a direct Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi. Go to the "Network" setting in the "Menu" screen.

Go to the Menu screen, select "TV Settings" and check the "Input" setting. Be sure it is not set for "Antenna". If it is, change it to "Cable" with the arrow buttons and press OK. Then press "Exit" to remove the Menu and test the cable signal.

Read the user guide that comes with the sound bar. The bar has an optical link and RCA input jacks. The Auria TV should have RCA output jacks, so get a paired cable set with red and white RCA plugs on both ends. The input button on the sound bar will select the connected input when pressed.

Get a short HDMI cable extension, with a male connector on one end and a female connector on the other. Best Buy may offer them. There is also a very short HDMI adapter that allows up to 90 degree turn so the Roku will lie outward., also available at Best Buy or TV specialty stores. Finally, try using the HDMI side port on the TV's right side (to your left as you face it).

The Vizio TV uses your Wi-Fi network to connect to the Internet. Read the user guide, and go through the Menu options, search for "Network" and enter the network ID and password with the remote's keyboard.

Yes, it is. I suggest testing all the audio outputs (RCA, optical, and HDMI) for sound because the speakers may be bad or disconnected, Check the Menu options for audio output.

Check the user guide for the Magnavox universal remote. The Vizio brand is more known than the Sony brand now and should appear in the list of TVs in the user guide. If not, then your remote is very old (Vizio itself is over twenty years in the market), so visit the Magnavox home page and check the Support section.

If you don't want to open up the Vizio TV set for the correct repair, you can use the remote to power it on and off.

All the universal remotes that I know of can access the Vizio TV since it is well known brand that is now more common than the Sony brand. Check the remote TV menu and user guide for the correct setup.

If you wish for the exact codes, visit the Vizio home page, go to the Support section and search there.

The Vizio TV can only access the Internet through the Wi-Fi connection and only for its internal VIA applications. You can use it as a large monitor to any other external device, such as a computer or Android box, using the VGA port or one of the HDMI ports. I have a Raspberry Pi attached to my Vizio TV to do that. I bought a Vizio box that does access the Internat through my Wi-Fi connection and also uses the Vizio TV as a monitor.

Modern TV sets, including the Vizio models, don't have any headphone jacks. The only audio outputs are the red and white RCA jacks, and the special optical port (used for the sound bar). I recommend buying a cable set that has the red and white RCA plugs on one end and a headphone jack on the other end. You can ask Best Buy or any audio store for it.

After you attach the plugs and can hear the audio through the headphone, you must enter the "Menu" and disconnect the on-board speakers if you wish to listen only on the headphone. Read the user manual to do this.

Hello, you can try to do a simple reset by disconnecting the TV from the outlet, wait 10 minutes, reconnect it and test if the fault is corrected, another possibility of testing would be to take the television to the factory situation, which means this, remains in condition as when they bought it, all settings are set to zero, you have to reprogram channels and all kinds of image and sound correction, you can do a backup beforehand, taking pictures of each adjustment, then you can take it to those values
I send you two videos link, where you can see what I suggested before
If after all this, you can not solve it, you can connect with Vizio's support
I hope you can solve the problem
Greetings Franco Dosil
