My TCL TV the picture
hi welcome to fixya
let me know first if what model do you asking for since your problem is the TCL tv but their is a samsung projection model posted, so that i can give you a better solution. any way if you asking for a tcl projection type tv since the problem is that the picture goes black, lets verify first to narrow down where the problem it can be. unplugged the tv unit then you need to open the back cover of the tv to access the internal part. now turn on your tv then look for the cooling fan for the lamp if it was working if not the lamp will turn off then you will not get picture. feel free to seek further assistance hope this will help thanks for consulting through fixya.

Tv turns off after 45min to an hr
Hi,
Initially and sorry but I have to ask, you of course have verified that the Sleep Timer is OFF?
Additionally, it would seem that the unit's
problem is either heat related or a cold solder/loose connection. I
would discount the possibility of a defective component since if it so
then the unit would not even power up in the first place.
Pls post back if you are
considering of doing the diagnosis and possible repairs yourself. Should
you venture a DIY, pls be reminded of safety precautions when working
with electrical devices. Of course this would also require a bit of
familiarity with electronic components and circuitry, use of a DVM and
a soldering iron. Access to a service manual or at least a schematic
diagram with voltage measurements would make the diagnosis a lot
easier. If you are not comfortable going this route, then perhaps your best
bet would then be to seek the services of a qualified professional.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards.
Thank you for using FixYa.
