Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. If you have already tried plugging/unplugging all the cables at the back of the TV then I believe it’s an internal issue. These TVs usually have issue with the DMD Board failing, you should check for all the connections to and from the DMD Board. It is recommended to do it yourself only if you have electrical expertise and know how to solder/re-solder the components, if not then a local repair center might charge you around $150 for the repair.

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks

When my ps3 is plugged into my samsung hln467w

Audio is only carried on HDMI and not DVI. You can get video only with this type of cable. HDMI to HDMI would work but not HDMI to any other connector. You can run a seperate dual RCA (red and white) to your system to get audio.

I have plugged my ps3 into my samsung hln467w tv

DVI doesn't handle audio at all that is why there is no audio you can hook up the red/white cables or set up the digital audio.
Thanks and enjoy,

When i hook my comcast box up to my samsung

Hi,
First of all what output/input are you using for video for the comcast box? Have you tried using a different output? When you connect a dvd player or a different source does it work? First thing is to figure out if its a problem with the tv or a problem with the box. If the tv works fine then you have to figure out the problem with the box or the connection between the two. once I have more information I can assist you further.
Thank you,
lee

I have a Playstation 3/blu

Your TV only has a DVI input, not an HDMI which PS3 has as an output. You can buy a HDMI to DVI adapter and connect the HDMI out of the PS3 to the DVI input of the TV. To get the true HighDef video you need a HDMI input on the TV to enjoy the full capacity of the Blu ray capabilities of the PS3. DVI came out before the HDMI standard and your picture will look good but not like HDMI. I have the same problem with my samsung 65 inch. I Bought the wrong technology. I hope this helps and good luck!

Flashing "LAMP" bottom right side

Unplug the set from the wall. Next you will need to remove the Lamp Door on the right side of the set. Just one screw and you can remove the door. Next you will see the lamp inside. It has two gold colored screws. Loosen both screws and grab the handle and lightly wiggle side to side while pulling the lamp out. Warning!!! DO NOT TOUCH THE FRONT GLASS AT ALL on the old lamp and the new lamp. If you see shattered glass inside the lamp then you have a bad lamp. There will be a Lamp Code sticker on the left side of the set. Record the lamp Code and purchase a lamp. Once you have the correct lamp just reverse the process. Make sure you have the Lamp Door on correctly and the screw in or else the set will not come on.

Error message to check fan #3. Where is it?

If you take the rear of the set off and hold the Interlock Switch on the right side up,Turn "ON" the set and look for three fans, one of them will not be turning. There are two small fans and one large one. The Large Fan is the Lamp cooling fan and the two fans are for cooling the Ballast and the other one is for cooling the DMD chip Heat Sink. The two smaller fans are the same type. The Lamp Fan (Large one) part# is BP31-00024A and the two small fan #s are BP31-00001A. They are all easy to replace.

Samsung sp50l6hd projecton

If a “Check Fan” message appears on the screen:

Take a look at the fans while the unit is on. If a fan is not operating, check the connector to that fan. If the connection is good, replace the fan. If the fan is still not operating you have a problem with one of PCBs.
