This tv internal curcuitries and manchanical design have a colors wheel in it.The tv have loud squiling noises,motor noises,black&white or colors flickers and fating.All the effect of the tv colors wheel is dying and spinning off of it motor axis.Cooling fan make noises for a couple hours,calm down,no way.The fan would have stop functioning,way before that.

There is no liquid in the tv. You may have to have a samsung tech come out to get the unit back to factory specs. You can call 1-800-samsung for the nearest service center.

You may have a color wheel that is losing its speed. Replacing the color wheel is tedious work and somewhat costly $100 to $130. Good Luck and thanks for asking!

Hmmmm! I would have to say you have a problem with the signal board. I have not repaired this brand or model. This would be the first thing to investigate. It is the board that contains all your antenna and rca jacks. Good Luck and visit your TV tech with this info!

IF YOU HAVE A SOLID BLACK LINE RUNNING VERTICALLY THEN YOU HAVE A FAULTY MATRIX INVERTER. IF CENTRAL THE MAIN VERTICAL INVERTER NEEDS CHANGED. LEFT = LEFT VERTICAL INVERTER RIGHT=RIGHT.........

ANOTHER WAY TO GET THIS FAULT IS WORN OR DAMAGED RIBBON/PLASTIC GOING FROM THE SCREEN MATRIX TO THE INVERTER

Hello ma'am, hi, looks like the tv has problems with the power supply board, parts inside get to fail slowly, those are likely resistors, and capacitors, and active parts like transistor gets to go leaking, eventually they will be permanently to fail. so have it checked by a tech guy.

This tv have a colors wheels it dead,it spinning off of it axis.That why u getting black&white picture.Hire a tv tech. to change the colors wheel.Because it hard to change the colors wheel,u never done it before.Have to take out alots machanicals parts before even can get to the colors wheel to change it.

Most of the time it is caused by the color wheel. If when you turn the tv on from a cold start......you push the power button, the fans start, then a few seconds later the humming starts, it is the color wheel. As someone who does this every day I can get a new color wheel for around 90-100 u.s. dollars. It is a tricky repair and you will probably pay 125-175 in labor plus markup and shipping on the part. If you try to replace it by yourself, me or someone here can walk you through this. However, this is not real easy. So good luck, Russmann.

This problem indicates that you may have a bad Main system control board issue. Try resetting the unit by removing AC power for at least 2mins..

Get an RCA cable and connect the following to the back of your HDTV:

Yellow - Video
Red- Right Audio
White - Left Audio

The other end should be compatible with the Audio-Video output of your Camcorder... Like a small av-jack.

The LCD tv,because the functions are both as a LCD monitor too.

Be sure the lamp cover door is closed to activate the safety switch. Otherwise the set will need a ballast or possibly the color wheel is not starting........it can be defective,especially if you have heard a whining noise prior to the set failing
