Are refurbished Xerox 7760 imaging drums safe to use?

Refurbished imaging drums can be a good option to save money, but it is important to purchase them from a reputable source to ensure they are of good quality and safe to use. Some refurbished parts may not be manufactured to the same standards as new parts, which can affect the performance and lifespan of your printer. When purchasing refurbished imaging drums, look for sellers who offer a warranty or guarantee on the product. This can provide added peace of mind and protection in case the drum fails prematurely. Additionally, be sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions for installation and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and avoid any potential issues.

Xerox 8080 doesn't power on but rather gives a flash on the LCD

If your Xerox 8080 printer is giving a flash on the LCD screen when you try to power it on and then immediately shutting off, there could be a few different issues causing the problem. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Check the power supply: Make sure the power supply is properly connected and functioning. If the power supply is damaged or not functioning properly, it can cause the printer to give a flash on the LCD screen and then shut off.
  2. Check the printer's connections: Make sure all of the printer's connections are secure and properly aligned. If the connections are loose or damaged, it can cause the printer to give a flash on the LCD screen and then shut off.
  3. Check for any other visible issues: Inspect the printer and its components for any visible issues that may be causing the problem. This can include debris or foreign objects that may have gotten stuck in the printer, or damage to the printer or its components.
If you have tried these troubleshooting steps and the problem persists, it may be necessary to have the printer serviced by a professional. A technician will be able to diagnose the problem and determine the necessary repairs.
