Riso RZ220 MASTER UNIT - ONE ROLL PACK Questions & Answers
Front cover is on alarm even the front cover is already closed. how can i reset the alarm.
Hello, Did the technician ask about any error codes in display?
For Example the number 2 from the center picture on display ( the picture of machine) or by pressing and holding the * (star) key on number pad show 2 numbers with the second being 817 in the red number area?
When the door is closed there is a one inch thin piece that gets inserted into a slot that activates a switch proving the door is closed..
There several resets you can try - holding down reset while powering on machine, Holding down just the "print position" left and right arrow keys (not the center) . and powering on equipment then typing "94" and then press start key. Note press clear if any numbers show up before hand.
If no results the part on door has broken or the switch is out of position to activate correctly,
Please tell any codes and we can go from there. TY
Cant clear e78 error code
CR set to wrong country code in Memory Switch - Setting no. 200 (machine model setting), needs to be "B"
Where can i download free service manual for
I found one here.http://code.google.com/p/rjournal/source/browse/branches/agpk/manual/RISO%2BTR1510%252C%2BTR1530%2BParts%2BList%252C%2BTechnical%2BManual%2BService%2BManual.zip?spec=svn185&r=185

Riso Error T01-520 Drum Stuck
T01-520 is not drum stick. All the All 520 errors refer to main motor lock/ motor limit sensor faults (T01 is fault that requires maintenance). Drum error is T01-520-520. In your case 520 is the problem code, not the area code.
It is not the drum stuck, it is the main motor because there is a fault.
Replacing drum won't help , since the fault concerns the main motor.
It would be useful to know if there is an area code after 520.
Print this out, and read here how to check new Riso codes.
Riso HC5500 S01-204 error
- Code: 001 S96
- Description:Power supply remote signal not connected The control signal cable for the ON/OFF control of the 24/38-VDC output is disconnected. The signal wire grounded inside the power supply unit has been pulled up by the IP PCB to detect the level.
- Code: 003 S97
- Description:38-VDC power supply voltage error A voltage drop is detected when a voltage drop is sensed by the IP PCB based on the signal resulting from dividing the 38-VDC resistance inside the power supply unit. The detection level is approximately 18 VDC. Voltage polling is conducted at 100-ms intervals by the IP-CPU. An error is detected when a voltage drop is sensed 10 times in succession (approx. 1 sec). No detection is performed when the interlock SW is open.
- Code: 004 S97
- Description:24-VDC power supply voltage error A voltage drop is detected when a voltage drop is sensed by the IP PCB based on the signal resulting from dividing the 24-VDC resistance inside the power supply unit. The detection level is approximately 11 VDC. Voltage polling is conducted at 100-ms intervals by the IP-CPU. An error is detected when a voltage drop is sensed 10 times in succession (approx. 1 sec). No detection is performed when the interlock SW is open.
- Code: 006 S97
- Description:3.3-VDC power supply voltage error A voltage drop is detected when a voltage drop is sensed in the 3.3-VDC power supply on the MIP side of the IP PCB. Voltage polling is conducted at 100-ms intervals by the IP-CPU. An error is detected when a voltage drop is sensed 10 times in succession (approx. 1 sec).
- Code: 007 S97
- Description:1.8-VDC power supply voltage error A voltage drop is detected when a voltage drop is sensed in the 1.8-VDC power supply on the MIP side of the IP PCB. Voltage polling is conducted at 100-ms intervals by the IP-CPU. An error is detected when a voltage drop is sensed 10 times in succession (approx. 1 sec).
- Code: 008 S96
- Description:Control panel not connected The absence of the control panel unit to be connected to the MC PCB is detected. Since this configuration lacks this panel, this error indication will not be issued under normal operating circumstances.
- Code: 009 S96
- Description:Print counter not connected The absence of a print counter is detected.
- Code: 011 S96
- Description:CIS PCB not connected The connection of the CIS PCB cannot be confirmed.

Riso error codes S35-2079-2
This indicates a problem with the cyan ink detection sensor. It can be reset temporarily in test mode with code 1534, but that may well not fix the cause of the error in the cyan ink supply.
