Yesterday I buy a Samsung

Solution: 1. Boot into Linux. 2. Use "fdisk" command to delete "ext" partitions. // In fact, no need to use other tools (e.g. killdisk) 3. Run "fdisk" command as root. 4. For those who don't know how to use "fdisk", I provide an example here. (Read the man page of "fdisk" will be better) //Remember !!! fdisk can format your hard disk (which will erase all your data), use it with great care -- unless you know what you are doing, otherwise don't use it. (I will not take any responsibility of my suggestion) i) fdisk /dev/sda .) For those who use PATA (Parallel IDE) : fdisk /dev/hda .) For those who use second hard disk : fdisk /dev/sdb (2nd SATA hard disk), fdisk /dev/hdb (2nd PATA hard disk), fdisk /dev/sdc (3rd SATA hard disk) and so on ... {sd [a, b, c, d, ...]} .) fdisk "what" depends on where your linux partition is. ii) use "m" to read the available options iii) press "d" iv) press the number of the partition you want to delete v) Remember ! if you don't want to make the change, press "q" at any time. (that means quit without saving) vi) If you want to make the change, press "w" (that means write the change to hard disk) 5. There may sometimes cause a warning message say something about not synchronize the disk (because you cannot make changes while you are using the partition -- if you are booting the partition now), the change will occur after you shutdown and reboot the system. 6. Okay, you can reboot the system now and you will find that the partition is empty now. 7. You can install XP or what ever now. ** For those who cannot use "fdisk", my simplest suggestion is to re-install Linux if you don't have any other tools (such as killdisk). And then you should be able to use "fdisk". In fedora 8, you can even choose formatting the hard disk in "vfat" file system (which can be recognized by almost all computer include windows xp and so on -- see "File Allocation Table" wiki) during installation. Therefore, no need to run fdisk

This pendrive is not working

if you are referring to a pen drive and not your hitachi 500 gb sata hard drive

click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll down universal serial bus controllers you should see a yellow question mark?

right click to reinstall drivers

if you can see your usb drive but its not working

ports(com&lpt)right click update driver if this fails to fix the problem

click start control panel administrive tools computer management disk management right click on your drive select properties click tools you should see click check now click start two boxes automatically fix files and scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors place then a tick in both boxes then select check now start or you might tick one box then return after its finished the first repair then return and tick the second box you should not do anything while the chkdsk utility is in progress any input may damage this drive hope it helps

if this fails to fix the problem

check the USB leads that attach to the motherboard usually red white green black make sure they are securely seated and have no dust build up on them dust will cause static and a lot of unforeseen problems for a computer and its parts also

scroll to disk drives if you can see your drive + to expand right click you should see options update driver disable uninstall scan for hardware changes

select properties you should see options in the general tab to troubleshoot policies volumes driver and details under the driver tab you will have the options to check the driver details update driver rollback driver or uninstall

then if you want/need to format click start click on computer then right click on your usb pendrive drive select format

hope this helps

I can not open data

Is it listed in your setup/BIOS? Is it listed in the device manager, or recognized by the OS? If any or all of these are yes, I would say you have a bad drive. If you can access the drive without complete disassemble then power it down and try removing the drive and reinstalling it. So with your phrasing I have to ask if this computer even boots past the setup/BIOS screen. If your getting into your OS, then you have some viruses or you just need instructions on how to use the computer?

Where can i find drivers for travelsrar 5k500 b-250

Click start control panel administration tools computer management device manager scroll through all of your devices If you see a yellow question or exclamation mark ? ! or a red X you will need to update the drivers for this device right click select update driver/reinstall driver if you can see your usb device but its not working scroll to Ports(Com&Ltd) right click to update driver If you computer came with a motherboard disk the drivers could be on it. Rather doing a driver hunt which can take hours http://download.cnet.com/slimdrivers-free/3000-18513_4-75279940.html Windows XP/Vista/7/8 it might take some time being a freeware driver solution Note: it will find all of your outdated drivers This will automatically search for and find the correct driver you will have to update every driver individually once you update you might be asked whether you want to restart or make a system restore point. Click no to both of these then continue updating each driver free then restart once all of the drivers have been updated. Hope this helps.
