Hi,You may have dirty lens. You can clean it using CD lens cleaner or clean it manually.If no joy, your optical lens may defective and need replacement. Other possiblity cause is the mechanism is out of service.Regards

You would need a Stereo jack to RCA cable. Input into Aux channel in rear, make sure your switch on faceplate is set to Aux. You may also need to turn up volume on the ipod.

Just like with any CD player, the optics have lifetimes. Either the optics are dirty and can not read the disk or they have failed. These units use KSS-213 optics assemblies from Sony, if I remember correctly. These can be purchased for around $25. Any one with audio repair experience should be able to replace them for you.

Just wanted to tell you i have the same problem with my right deck! after about 2-3 hours of usage the right deck will start to skip while playing a cd...almost sounds like im fast forwarding then itll just stop playing, but only on the right deck! Ive noticed that it happens when the unit gets hot whether by usage or sunlight. Now as for youre issue about the crackling, i have two staements one is the cd youre playing scratched? ive had cds that have had minor path scratches that follow around the cd not straight across scratches..while playing this sounds like static or crackle then fades away! I would recommend playing the cd in a entirely different unit to see if this is the prob...if you know this is not the issue i would say that its a loose connection to a capicator or that a capacitor is on the way out...this happens when the capacitor is cold and doesnt let proper flow to go thru but as the capacitor heats up it it may heat the connection making a better contact.....just out of curiousity do you have the right rated fuse in the holder.. sometimes just having a fuse off by a couple of volts or milliamps can cause the same effect

Chances are that you didn't reassemble the unit correctly or damaged a ribbon cable or limit sensor. Re check your work. Pay attention to small circuit board attached to the spin motor RF310T-11400. De-solder the small circuit board on the 2 motors..and apply 12v to the spin motor. See if it spins with no dead spots on start up. when asseembled, motor will only operate and spin up to the proper RPM only if loading is successful and tray is fully closed ..etc. Hope this Helps. If the display is working, you have audio. Check your amplifier. 1300Watt adaptor ... This unit draws a very low power and that is not needed.

1. Power Off: Turn off the device.
2. Jumper Configuration: Locate the jumper labeled "S16" on the device. Initially, it should be connected to pins 2 and 3.
3. Power On (Alarm+All LEDs Flashing): Turn the device back on. You'll see the alarm LED and all other LEDs flashing.
4. Power Off Again: Turn off the device once more.
5. Jumper Adjustment: Change the jumper configuration from pins 2 and 3 to pins 1 and 2.
6. Finished: Your Porpo YH-2000 is now set to the desired angular unit mode.

If you encounter any issues, you can press the reset switch on the back of the device to reinitialize it.
