Its not the TV, the TV is just a portal to showmax or hbo. To ensure that your using the correct information, either using the showmax app or using your computer, try logging in on their website with your credentials. You will know if those are the proper credentials to log into the showmax portal. And of course as you most likely know the password must be capitalize where it needs to be capitalize. The biggest issue people have is using the remote to sign in you may not be going to the right icon to change from upper case to lower case or vice versa.

Those blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

If blinks continue without any pause, or the LED light stationery; the main board is faulty.
Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device; [Exclude the model number], in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts. See the site by a desktop. Mobile view has no search box. If you are viewing it by your mobile, see it in webview
Counting the number of blinks to Philips TVs is entirely different to that of other brand TVs. It is not a direct count procedure. The site have details about how to count the number of LED blinks [Fault Codes] to Philips brand TVs are given; along with details of the faulty circuit location...

Check signal strength and quality. 4G signal destroys freeview signal quality so you may need a 4G filter if that is the problem.

Hello Barbara, for what you are saying, the TV has a fault that hardly has repair, the lines that are formed on the screen are as a result of the non-connection of a small part of the contacts between the signal distribution board and the panel LCD
These desoldados contacts, are part of a large number of contacts, all very fine and very difficult to know what they are and worse chance to solve them
There are those who press in the sertor of these welds, achieving in very few cases eliminating a certain number of lines
This type of failure is not something that can be solved at home, except to get a new LCD panel and the same type that your TV uses
I suggest you consult a specialized technical service
I hope you can solve the problem
Greetings Franco Dosil

try it with remote.

Hisense... | Answered on May 23, 2019 | 19 views

Hello Ginnie, it may be that your remote control has the VOL-locked button and produces the fault, to test the batteries to the remote control and check if it continues to do so.
Another option may be that the VOL- control, on the TV, is locked or has some internal dirt and generates a false contact that could cause the failure
Check these points to see if you have problem solution
If not consult a specialized technical service
I hope I can solve the problem
Greetings Franco Dosil

Hello Kenpappas, for what you describe, it would seem like a backlighting problem
questions if you can have a bad led ?, if many times a Led, is the one that proboca the failure
The correct solution from my point of view is, replace, all the Leds
As it is not practical to replace each led in the strips
It is more practical and simple, replace the full strips of leds
I send you a video, in which they show, the procedure of replacing the LED strips on a Hisense TV
I hope you can solve the problem

Assuming that power is connected, there is an issue with your compressor and/or Freon. If there is the proper amount of Freon in the system the compressor is supposed to compress it and make it cold. Feel the tubes. Are they cold? Can you hear the compressor kicking in? Is there a reset button on the compressor?

Hello Michelle, if the WIFI is the same one that you use in your house with the cell phone or the PC, search in these devices, in WIFI connections, properties, and there the WIFI password should appear
The other option is to factory reset the WIFI and configure it again
You can also contact your internet operator and ask for the password
I hope you serve my comments

Use code search on your ONN URC to find something that works. If a search through all codes stored in the URC fails, try a different one.
