There could be an issue in the power supply. I am assuming here that there is an external PS or power brick and some call it that plugs into the tv. Crack that open and take a look at the caps which look like little tubes or little boxes if any of them are blown open, bloated, or misshapen then that it more than likely your problem. Common misconception is that power strips safe guard you from power surges, but unless you paid big bucks like over 150$ then you have no surge protection other than your homes breaker box. Power supplies are easily replaced as they are the most common failure in televisions. If you don't notice anything that looks off, try buying a power supply from somewhere reputable like amazon.com where you can buy a power supply and return it if there is no issue. If you do find something let me know and I can help you find what you need.
Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. It has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. One among it has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device in its search box at the top right part of the display window. It will help you to find the document easily. http://electro-medical.blogspot.com/
Hope the TV have problem with the either power board or the lcd panel. Try to check the power supply is its produce correct voltages mentioned on its connectors if you need help then check the video for that. if the power supply finds ok then you have problem with the lcd panel. In lcd panel there is a some ics which used as the driver of the pixels. the tcon sends data to these ics. and if any onf the ics draws more current from t con board then it can dame the t con. They are not replaceable one ,its integrated to the panel. if its faulty then you have to go for a new panel for that tv. And it would be a expensive repair.
Recommend using the installation and setup procedures straight from the manual. Unfortunately, I cannot access the manual, but I recently set up a new Smart TV and found that the manual is essential to making it easy and painless. The added benefit was that I learned how to properly use my TV easily.
There might be a setting on your cable box for audio output. Use the cable remote and look in the audio section of the settings menu and select HDMI output. Mine is under Audio Digital Output in the Audio/Video menu.
If the panel lock is set to ON, the panel buttons won't work. If the remote control or the infrared sensor inside the TV is faulty; the remote control won't respond. Contact any service technician. Check the remote control for its infra-red emission. Check it with fresh batteries. Check by pressing all the buttons on it; and see whether all of it generates infrared signal while pressing. If it is found OK, check and replace the infrared sensor inside the TV. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. It has details about how to check a remote control; by one among the post. Surf the site with patience. Hello Ginnie, it may be that your remote control has the VOL-locked button and produces the fault, to test the batteries to the remote control and check if it continues to do so.
Another option may be that the VOL- control, on the TV, is locked or has some internal dirt and generates a false contact that could cause the failure
Check these points to see if you have problem solution
If not consult a specialized technical service
I hope I can solve the problem

kayo app is not available for you to download on any hisense tv. The preloaded app they provide is fixed on the software. In order you to have this app , you just need to buy any android tv box and download the Kayo on google play.
Hello Kenpappas, for what you describe, it would seem like a backlighting problem
questions if you can have a bad led ?, if many times a Led, is the one that proboca the failure
The correct solution from my point of view is, replace, all the Leds
As it is not practical to replace each led in the strips
It is more practical and simple, replace the full strips of leds
I send you a video, in which they show, the procedure of replacing the LED strips on a Hisense TV
I hope you can solve the problem
Greetings Franco Dosil
