There could be an issue in the power supply. I am assuming here that there is an external PS or power brick and some call it that plugs into the tv. Crack that open and take a look at the caps which look like little tubes or little boxes if any of them are blown open, bloated, or misshapen then that it more than likely your problem. Hope the TV have problem with the either power board or the lcd panel. Try to check the power supply is its produce correct voltages mentioned on its connectors if you need help then check the video for that. if the power supply finds ok then you have problem with the lcd panel. In lcd panel there is a some ics which used as the driver of the pixels. the tcon sends data to these ics. and if any onf the ics draws more current from t con board then it can dame the t con. They are not replaceable one ,its integrated to the panel. if its faulty then you have to go for a new panel for that tv. And it would be a expensive repair. Unfortunately, I cannot access the manual, but I recently set up a new Smart TV and found that the manual is essential to making it easy and painless. There might be a setting on your cable box for audio output. Use the cable remote and look in the audio section of the settings menu and select HDMI output. Mine is under Audio Digital Output in the Audio/Video menu.
