Estate dryer won't start but has a humming noise
The Start/Run Capacitor has failed. The humming is the classic symptom. The capacitor gives is a jolt to get it running.https://www.whirlpoolparts.com/PartSearch/ProductBrandAllModels?brandId=123&productId=8..

Kenm0re heavy duty washer SM9710805-A lint filter location
The model tag is around the doorframe. I don't believe that's the correct model number. They are typically located in the front behind the door, or on the top panel they'll be a rectangular flap. That flap will lift up, and you grab the handle of the line screen and pull it out. Make sure it's pushed back in fully, and don't do it while it's running.

I have a Duracraft Tabletop Fan model DF 1800 3
I have the same question. I picked one up for free and it was manufactured in 1996. I pulled two measuring cups full of dust out of it with tweezers. I took four screws out and still couldn't separate it. I researched on YouTube and I think it CAN'T be taken apart for cleaning. I got a degreasing spray which someone recommended and took care to try to do each side separately so that nothing would get inside the motor. That cleaned it up quite a bit, but I ultimately took the hose to it (carefully) to get most of the dirt/dust out, avoiding the motor while doing it. I am letting it air dry in the sun and then will see if it actually powers up after all this work cleaning it. It was too much of a fire hazard with all the caked on dust inside to try powering it up before cleaning it. If you found the manual, let me know as I need it as well.

Why won't my Kenmore electric dryer start?
if the machine will not start properly.
my guess would be check door swtich: Also did you check for burned out breaker at power box? check for full voltage to the maching from the wall outlett. then check
Push start switch may need to be tested with a multi meter for continuity OHMS should show a closed circuit when pushed in or turned on.
The start switch on some is often part of the timer and is activated by pulling out on the timer knob. Although not normally available as a separate part, the switch can be tested for continuity with a multi-meter. You will need to remove power from the appliance and then locate the correct timer contacts as noted on the wiring diagram. On some electronic controlled models, the start switch is a momentary contact type switch located on the control console. You can test this switch for continuity with a multi-meter when the push button is held in
Door switch if bad can be jumpered with a bypass, fisrt check with meter for ohms. Or open line cirrcuit this switch can hinder operation
It may have a bad centrifigal motor switch that my have been tripped. check belt tensioner
Electric dryer no start does nothing
Check dryer Terminal block prongs both outside prongs should give combined 220, and 110 each if u check 1 outside & 1 center (ground) prong. Also check house electrical outlet for full voltage.
CHECK THERMAL SHUT OFF THERMOSTAT USUALLY LOCATED ON THE BLOWER. for OHMS or resistance with a meter. Should show a closed circuit. Ohms WHEN THIS FUSE BLOWS IT WILL SHUT DOWN EVERYTHING.
NEXT Test the PUSH start switch with meter for OHMS. Should show OHMS when pushed in or on start, and no ohms or infinity when in off position.
If you hear a humming/clicking sound from motor area you more than likely have a bad motor.
Try this test out to see if u have weak windings or relay/capacitor on motor.
Open the dryer door and turn by hand the drum while machine is on ON position. And you or someone else presses the door engagement switch in. If it starts up then u have bad windings
Another thing to check is the belt safety switch. With a multi meter.
Especially if u just replaced the belt. The belt safety switch is attached to the Tensioner and motor. IT LOOKS LIKE A DOOR SWITCH SOMEWHAT a little black pc of plastic with 2 prongs going into it. Sits at bottom of motor. Under the Tensioner. Attach meter clips to the 2 prongs on switch, Then when the little white push button is pressed in it should show continuity and none when released.
Lastly check ur DOOR SWITCH for continuity with a meter when the button is pushed in the (on/Door closed position,) it may have gone bad.
