When I hit the "Record" button, the recorder says "No Audio" - and I'm using TDK CD-RW disks ... any idea how to fix this ???

The disc has to stay music on it on the label. Ones you use for a computer to burn music will not work with a CD Recorder,

Like any other recording device it has IN's and OUTs, but in this case there are two distinct units in the case - a Player and a Recorder.

You have analog in's and outs that accept standard Line Level RCA patch cords.

Coaxial Digital connectors carry standard digital audio in or out; ditto the Optical connectors.

I imagine that, being a dual deck, it has internal digital routing for copying from the Player to the Recorder.

I also imagine it requires CD-R AUDIO blank media for making recordings; not computer CDR's.

I need to know how to hook the recorder to a PA

hello wpl... The church system has an amplifier or a receiver that the microphones get plugged into. Generally that amplifier or receiver will have an "audio out" socket that you can plug your CD recorder into. If you do not have a cable to hook up your recorder to the church system, you can get one at Radio Shack or Walmart.

As far as CD's, the so-called CD-R retains a high level of compatibility with standard CD readers, unlike CD-RW - which can be re-written, but is not capable of playing on many readers, and also uses more expensive media.
