also check the 3 resistors 1.8ohms

You will need to replace the convergence IC or ICs and replace any 2 watt low ohm (under 10 ohms) resistors. The t-con board of your television is bad, that is why your television is having sound but no picture.
The t-con board is by the upper middle of the main panel of the television, Have it replaced and your television will be in good condition once again.

Thanks for using FixYa. Clicking sound can be from a bad capacitor on the power supply board. To start with open the back of the unit and check the power supply board for any blown capacitors. Also check the flyback as it can be some loose wires in the coil. Usually this happens when there is a vibration in the horizontal circuit, the flyback and/or coil can make this noise. Also inspect the fuse if they are working fine and please make sure to turn off and unplug the TV for at least 1 hour (this will drain off current from all components especially capacitors) before you perform any repairs. Opening the unit is only recommended if you have some electrical expertise. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Your TV is out of convergance. You'll probably noticed that there are red, green, and blue images. You'll need to determine if the problem is in the power supply or the convergance board. Usually, the convergance amps go bad and opens resistors. Do you know how to read a schematic and use a multimeter? You will also need to know how to remove the old parts and solder the new parts into the circuit board.

The most likely cause is shorted convergence chips and possibly a few pico fuses.

These sets need to have all three colors - RED - BLUE - GREEN - lined up correctly on the screen in order for the picture to look normal. This is called convergence.

When its out of alignment the video will look 3-D, wavy, distorted, etc. Most of the time you just need to adjust your convergence in the menu. If you cannot adjust it in the menu - then your convergence is broken and needs to be repaired. Convergence problems are very common on all Projection TV sets including Sony,Samsung,JVC,Philip Magnavox,Panasonic,Akai,Pioneer Hitachi,Mitsubishi,Zenith and others.

I would replace the Convergence IC's. They should be STK-392-110's. It should cure the problem.
They are typically mounted to heavy duty Heat Sinks and located generally on the Video Board. You should replace both of the IC's as a pair. I would also make sure you use Heat Sink Compound on the back of the new IC's when remounting them.

sounds like you need to change the convergence chip to me. you can order a kit with instructions from www.tvrepairkits.com for most tv's.
If you plan on doing this you need a good soldering gun and a steady hand.

Its a convergence issue. The convergence IC needs to be replaced.

HELLO.!!! IT SOUND LIKE YOU HAVE A BAD HORIZANTAL OUTPUT TRANSISTER & FLY BAD FLY BACK TRANFORMER. TRY CHANGING THEY'S .!!! THEN YOU SHOULD HAVE A WORKING SET"GOOD LUCK"

hello it sound's like your fly back transformer is bad check the horzantal output transister.and it.!!! change them and your set will work. most likly.!!! "GOOD LUCK"
