Region free samsung bd f5700

Try the official Samsung support site. There are software upgrades available, as well as manuals, etc.: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/BD-F5700/ZA Howver, the F5700 is "officially" only a Region 1 player. If you bought it from an odd seller that advertised it otherwise, they either lied to you or have attempted to hack the player themselves (possibly illegally). SOME manufacturers allow a ONE-time region change (legally). Other suggestions from FixYa users on changing Region: http://www.fixya.com/support/t21913028-region_free_samsung_bd_f5700 or general suggestions on changing the region on players: http://www.ehow.com/how_5091093_change-region-dvd-player.html I do not condone any of the above methods, whether they are legal or not. Most Blu-Ray discs are already region-free, and I don't hack my electronics.

Send audio/video from my desktop to my BD-F5700

1. Connect the BD-F5700 to your wireless home network. 2. Open your Windows Media Player application on your desktop. Select the ' Stream' tab and from the dropdown list select the "Automatically allow devices to play my media" option. Follow the instructions. Please note that this works with Windows 7, not sure about earlier or later versions.

I have a new samsung bd-f5700 player and tray won't open. Tried using the remote to open & the panel on top of player to open. Nothing works.

First, try resetting your player. Unplug it from wall for at least 1 full minute, then plug it back in. If eject function (remote or top panel) still doesn't work: MOST DVD players (including every one I have ever worked on or owned) have a tiny manual eject pinhole located close to the tray. You may have to gently open the flip door to see it. It is usually to the right of the disc slot, but could be underneath or elsewhere close by (use a flashlight, it can be hard to see). Carefully insert a straightened paper clip in the pinhole to eject the disc. (It shouldn't matter if machine is on, but for safety I usually do this with the machine OFF and unplugged). see http://www.ehow.com/how_2324439_eject-stuck-dvdcd-drive.html or http://www.ehow.com/how_2036594_fix-dvd-player.html and http://www.ehow.com/how_6330619_retrieve-jammed-cd-dvd-player.html If above fails, your only recourse is likely the disassembly of the machine (search "dvd disc stuck" on Google or YouTube), or taking your machine to a repair person. Best of luck to you.

Why is my Samsung plasma tv screen becoming dark suddenly meanwhile it's on and still functioning

Hello. You can check HDMI cable in this case. If you're using an HDMI port that's not working well or has been damaged, it could result in a darker-than-usual screen. If you switch the cable or change devices and the TV is at a regular brightness, this is the case.

Samsung 55 TV White vertical patches?

It sounds like you might be dealing with backlight bleeding or an issue with the LED backlighting in your TV. This can sometimes occur over time due to normal wear and tear or manufacturing defects. If it started as a faint single brighter section and has now expanded to four, it's likely a hardware issue. While it may not be an easy fix, contacting the manufacturer's customer support or a professional technician would be a good next step to diagnose and possibly repair the problem. If you'd like, you can share the pictures for a more accurate assessment.
