Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 Mobile Phone Questions & Answers
How come my phone days charged and still charging but dies as soon as it turned on
Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 i9200: When phone is on charger, battery is charging at full, but when unplugged phone dies as soon as I turn it on:
Hello. Battery depletion happens over time.. or, when it is being charged too much or too long on the charger.. or could even happen when there are electrical surges on the outlet from power fluctuations.. anything can affect the charge life of the battery..
Think of it like water in a plant pot. You can't really tell how much water really exists in it.. Over time it dries out.. (let's say you forget to water it for a couple of weeks). Even though there may be 1% water left in the soil, the plant still looks healthy as if you just gave it water, but in reality the plant is slowly dying.
Same with the battery.. In reality there may be 1/3 or less of life in useable battery left.. on the charger it shows that 1/3 is full (because that 1/3 is full).. but without direct connection, just trying to turn it on the phone needs more power than what's left in the battery by itself, so the phone turns off.
This means that your charging port works, your charging adapter and charging cable works, but your battery is dying.
The one thing you can do, is buy a new battery.

Mysafe mode has been on for 3 days
Samsung Galaxy Mega: How to turn off Safe Mode:Press power off.. let phone turn off completely. Then power phone back on.. no other buttons need to be pressed at same time. The buttons you are pressing in the sequence you just described is the way to activate safe mode.. that is why you are still in safe mode.:)When you powered on your device before when it appeared, you probably accidentally pressed the volume down button to activate safe mode. Next time be careful how you hold your phone when powering on.
When I try and take a picture it says camera failed
Noting to do. your camera failed. Live with it till you decide to get a new smart-phone. You can send it to repair but I believe it's too expensive. in any case, ask how much, maybe you can get a good price
Samsung Galaxy Mega not charging?
- Check the USB port has not been damaged.
- Make sure you are using the right charger for it which produced the right current output.
- substitute another charger of the same current output.
Find my lost cell phone
Get hold of your cell phone provider they might be able to pinpoint it using the phones GPS. Or depending on if you enabled a virus protection to be a device administrator it may have the ability to also GPS search for your phone. Subsequent to this if you do not find it i would defenitlly have it wiped or locked. If somrone has your phone by chance, you stand to loose your identity or bank info. You know what you have on there so be very carefull, not to try to scare you but if you have passwords or your address or credit card info i would defenittly get it locked very quickly. Just a thought.
