The main causes of this error are mentioned below :-

An E01-22 error means something wrong with the 'polygon motor synchronization'.

1- engine pcb
2- laser unit
3- lvps [low voltage power supply]
4- sc pcb

A question about the problem: does the machine make a loud buzzing sound when its power is on / turned on ? if so, the motor itself or its bearings could be the problem.

For your information, the polygon motor is part of the laser unit, usually... it rotates a mirror that deflects the laser beam repeatedly across... elements in the machine of no concern right now. Being part of the laser unit subassembly, most often, if it is really defective it can require an (expensive) replacement (the laser unit usually costs a fair amount and cannot be disassembled for repair owing to containing many delicate / adjustment-requiring parts.)

So, do the very thorough cleanout first for sure... sometimes the mirror on the polygon motor, that deflects the laser beam, that has to go through a glass before hitting the drum, is fogged or something, but the glass it has to go through is cleanable and should in such a case be cleaned for sure! to see if that's the problem.

And there's always the hard reset, to try:
Turn the copier OFF, when it is on, by suddenly and sharply unplugging it from the power source.
Leave it that way for 10 minutes.
Plug it back in.
Turn it on if it didn't turn itself on. Wait for it to initialize.
Try copying again.

Be advised that there could be few probabilities for the above error.If i would be in your place, i would rather call a tech and take care of it rather than buying laser unit and hope that it would resolve the problem.

A new laser would be over $100, it would be much cheaper to buy a new copier.

E1-22 indicates a problem with the Polygon Motor Sychronization....this is a problem in the laser unit either the Driver pcb is shorted or broken, the Laser unit pcb is defective, the laser unit itself could be defective.

Hopper unit is the Black plastic part that the toner bottle plugs into.

E7-22 is an indication of a motor problem in the finisher. Check the finisher to see if anything is out of place/crooked, if not you may have a defective motor.

the polygon motor is at fault, this requires a service technician.

does the device make a humming sound?? if so your laser unit needs to be replaced as the motor rotation in the unit is faulty. please consult a technician

There is a switch under the ADF check and make sure that switch is engaged when ADF is closed
Switch is located in the Middle of ADF right above the ADF Sensor on the machine platen glass

It means printer engine communication abnormal. Check the connections on the pcb control board. you may need a service tech to do this

e2 shows a problem in the paper feed unit, and e3 shows a problem in the developer or hopper unit areas. i would need the second number of the error message to say exactly where.

E05 errror means laser motor synchronization. In such scenarios you need to replace laser unit. The part number for the same is FFPGC0208 .

You are in service mode, hit the number 5 and start key to go to F5, then start again, scroll to language at pick english. To exit service mode touch function and clear at the same time. This is the only way to exit service mode

Have you check the cable connection between the Print Head (Laser) and the main board? The code is for motor inside the printhead. You replaced the print head? and it did not fix it? Esure the cables when reconnected properly installed. Mite want to reseat the cables.
