Generally, yes that bolt should be reachable. Since that bolt is rarely changed, it can be difficult to reach. There should be storage up around that area. You might be able to reach it with a long arm or extension for the socket.

Sounds like there is a blockage in the fuel line that lets gas through for a short period of time, then becomes very low and the engine stalls. Look for dirt in the lines and clean out.

Sounds like your running a power prop instead of a speed prop. Call PROPCO company out of Monroe Georgia. These people are the best. Let them explain what cupping a prop does for speed.

Sounds to me you have a restriction in the fuel line somewhere. Check the fuel filter. Seems it's not getting enough gas.

If the buttons pop out and can be pushed back in to reset them, they are breakers. Someone could have put in an in-line fuse if something isn't working. Also, check for breaks in ground wires.

Ground the two negative posts together. All grounds connect to the battery ground. Positive of one battery goes straight to post marked 1 on the switch. positive of other battery goes to post marked 2 on switch. Engine positive and all accessory positives should go to the "Common" post or bottom post of battery swith. Screw down your switch and happy boating!

You need fuel, compression, spark, and air so it MUST be one of those four. I'd check the holly 600 first. Look down the throat while turning it over and giving it gas. The accelerator pump should pump raw gas into the throat. Net ground an extra spark plug and take a SP wire and place it on this plug. Crank motor. Check air filter so you can see light through it. Finally remove a spark plug and put a finger on the exposed hole. Have a pal turn the motor over-it should blow your finger finger off the hole. One last idea, is your fuel tank vent open?

Check the shear pin for the prop. If broken, replace. If it's ok, then there is a big problem with the lower unit and it will need to be rebuilt or replaced.

Not sure what's going on, but either it isn't in gear or the shaft is broken. Also, the prop can have a shear pin, check to see that isn't broken.
