If plugs and wire are good, it's probably either the ignition coils or power pack and/or optical sensor.

Just call it old smokey. Does it quit after it warms up? This is not uncommon on most occasions.

Bluish is oil being burnt. You didn't say if it was a 2 or 4 cycle. If it is a 4 cycle, you have a lot of oil getting into the cylinders. If it is a 2 cycle, check the gas for too much oil. Should be 50:1 mix.

Has the motor been setting awhile? Try tapping on the lift motor with a rubber mallet when turning the switch up or down .Sometime the brushes in the lift motor get stuck when setting for awhile. If that doesn't work, try checking for power and a ground on the motor wiring with a test light between the two wires. again with the switch depressed.

If there is power coming out of the coil, it should spark unless the plug is bad or the power output from the coil is too low.

Check if power to relays when operated from throttle control. Trace wire from throttle control to servo, possible blown fuse, if OK then check for open circuit from relay to the tilt, EG: crushed wire where outboard moves around.

From other forums, the transducer seems to be a problem if it isn't pointing directly down when the boat is in the water.

That's the epoxy resin to encompass the piezoes inside the transducer housing ... Not a good thing to be leaking out .
