There are no browser on playstation 2, for an online play you need a network adaptor or slimline ps2. Still when i checked for example killzone 1 multiplayer like 5 years ago one lonely person was playing so it's not worth the cost and trouble.

You can have a second player help you in your career mode by destroying the competition. First, go to the Fast Action section on the top and set up a race for whatever type of car series you are in on career mode. To do that, go to the activation screen and slide the controllers over. When you get to the driver-select screen, keep going back with TRIANGLE until you get back to the main menu. Now resume your career mode and start a race. The purpose for this is because you can have a friend drive in the second car that is a random car from the competition. He can now drive that car backwards and smash the other cars or knock out your closest rival.

PS2 has a special laser that reads DVD or CD media differently. It can be "bad" in a way that some work and others don't. Cost of laser replacement is too high, buy a cheap core unit and game on.

Your disk drive is out of alignment or dirty. you can fix it by adjusting a little white dial on the drive its self. I would first try cleaning it with a CD/DVD/CD-ROM Laser Lens Cleaner. They are pretty cheap. If that did not work then you will have to take it apart and adjust the laser by hand. I will say its a bit of a pain to do so and it will take a bit to get it to work right.You also run the chance of destroying the drive and may have to replace it with one out of the same model of ps2.

Check the AV HDMI cables on the back of the tv. You may have the cable in the wrong sockets. Then try turning on the PS 2. Hope this helps.

That is a strange one there. I recall Xbox having an issue like that, but only if you were holding a button or control when the game started. I would say, take it to a friend's house and try it there. If it still does it, then you have a rare bad copy with bad code.

Some tv's are sketchy with the connections you can use. I would sugest HDMI for an LCD tv. You can control the frame refresh rate via the PS3 too.Then again, after looking closer at the picture you have catagorized, you are talking about a PS2? All you need is a RFU adapter, and it will work just fine. ^^ Good luck.

It sounds like your disk reader has somehow shifted. The laser is no longer making contact with the correct spot on the disk. You can look up a youtube video that will walk you through the process of realignment or you can contact a local used game store that will work on it for you. Sometimes it is a matter of dust worming its way into the case (It can block the laser making it think you have no disk inserted) you can take a can of air and blow the dust out. You can find canned air at most stores that sell technology Walmart, Bestbuy, Staples. If this doesn't fix it then you'll need to get the laser realigned. Oh and don't just try and blow the air out like its one of the those cartage games the pressurized can has more power then you can manage. (besides you don't want a big puff of dust in your face I know this from personal experience) I hope this helps

That's a tough on, since they didn't make direct replacement part for the ps2. However, if you have the old one with you, all you have to do is go to your local electronics store, and match a new one with the old one. Another way to do it, if you don't have the old belt, is to take a piece of string around the pulleys and tie a knot for the size. (NOTE) It doesn't have to be perfect when drive belts are concerned. Here is the procedure to reset the parental lock code: 1. Bring up a screen where the unit asks you to enter in the parental code. You can either insert a restricted disc, or enter the DVD setup menu and go to "parental control" under custom setup. 2. When the screen asks for the code, press the SELECT button, then enter in the code "7444". 3. The level adjustment under Parental Control dictates the strictness of the player. The lower the value, the more strict it will be. Either increase the value to lower the restriction, or disable the lock entirely by setting it to "off". 4. Once you have made your adjustments, be sure that the DVD tray is empty, and press the RESET button on the front of the Playstation 2. It is imperative the tray is clear of any DVD or game for the unit to save your settings.

This is usually a matter of cleaning. If the nodes on either your controller end or the system itself are dirty you could have a bad connection that would cause your controller to all kinds of wacky stuff. Use some cleaner like alcohol and a q-tip and clean the ends. If that doesn't work your proabably better off buying a new controler then trying to fix it.
