How do I enter into
Usually delete, might be f2, to enter the boot order I gauruntee it's f12. If the bios is passworded, you are screwed. Try reseting the bios by unplugging the unit, remove the bios battery for atleast 10 secs, then put it back. If it's still passworded...see above.

When I open a program
A critical Windows file has been corrupted. Too late to fix it, you will have to reinstall it using the recovery cd that came with the pc when you bought it.

I had to install a new hard drive into my systemax
Download (as in Save) then burn this program
http://www.piriform.com/speccy
on a CD-RW (of course using another pc), then install and run it in your pc - it will tell you what hardware you have, exactly. Then go to the sites of the manufacturers of those devices and download the driver installers to the same CD-RW and install them.

I got a bad virus
If you want a clean install make sure you format the hard drive during the install process, do not select fast format.

Pressing f10 during system restart will gain you access to the bios. Using the arrow keys scroll to the boot sequence and hit enter. this should allow you to choose from , and select a primary boot order sequence. Follow the on screen instructions to make the changes. Then hit esc button. be sure to save and exit setup.

You can't, but you can get a Password Reset disc download and burn to CD. Copy/paste the address below, into your address bar of your browser.
http://pogostick.net/~pnh/ntpasswd/cd080802.zip
Download this file and burn it to CD. Put into drive and turn on PC, and boot from the CD. Follow instructions, choose the correct USER. & BLANK the password. make sure you say OK to write the data, and reboot. The logon password will now be reset blank.

Error message, can't run network diagnositcs, system restore....
The Last Known Good Configuration feature is a recovery option that you
can use to start your computer by using the most recent settings that
worked. The Last Known Good Configuration feature restores registry
information and driver settings that were in effect the last time the
computer started successfully.
To start your computer by using the Last Known Good Configuration feature, follow these steps:
- Start your computer.
- When you see the "Please select the operating system to start" message, press the F8 key.
- When the Windows Advanced Options menu appears,
use the ARROW keys to select Last Known Good Configuration (your most
recent settings that worked), and then press ENTER.
- If you are running other operating systems on your computer, use the ARROW keys to select Microsoft Windows XP, and then press ENTER.
