Negative speaker output touched chasis of amp.

check all fuses on the unit, pull them all.
look for a way of resetting the amp.

LEAVE THE MAIN FUSE OUT TILL THE INSTALL IS COMPLETE!!!

that way you wont short a screw driver across the terminals on to the chasis.

Sterio codes

Best thing to do is call the dealer and tell them you replaced the battery and the car didn't have an owners manual. They can get pull one off their computer, they just need a S/N from the radio. If that doesn't work, I can tell you a different idea. Don't forget to leave feedback

Amp shuts off

is this a new problem or has it always done it?? it mos tlikely needs repairs, but try this first. Hook up ther + of one sub to the speaker + on the amp. Hook the - of that samne sub to the + of the other sub. Then connect the - of the other sub to the speaker - on the amp. This will run the speakers in series and will put alot less strain on your amplifgier. It will not "hit" as hard but it sbetter then having it shut of fall the time. I would also make damn sure that:
Your ground wire is large enough and properly grounded. It should be BOLTED to a solid poiece of metal on your car. Use a screwdriver, whatever so scrape off any rust as the connection should be a clean, BARE METAL connection. Next make sure your power wire and fuse are ok. If you are using round glkass fuses, replace it even if it looks good. I have seen those fuse smelt the solder in the ends. They can look great but really be bad.

SO go through all the basics and if it still gives you problems then it needs repaired. Please dont rate me un-helpful.

Correct settings

I am not familiar with your amp, but any amplifier performs best when the output stage effective resistance exactly matches the load resistance. So, read your 15" subs and find out number of ohms, then set the amp to that number. according to your amp's specs: if you have 2 ohm speakers, you can draw 350 watts from your amp. so purchase 2 ohm speakers

I need a Manual for a Alpine Vie-x077 in English and also anyone know why it keeps saying the disc needs to be ejected but it won't

  1. Mechanical Issue: There might be a mechanical problem with the disc drive or the eject mechanism. It's possible that a part is jammed or not functioning correctly.
  2. Dirty or Damaged Disc: If the disc is dirty, scratched, or damaged, the player may have difficulty reading it and thus not ejecting it properly.
  3. System Error: There could be an internal error within the player's software or firmware causing it to not recognize the disc properly or to malfunction when attempting to eject it.
  4. Power Issue: Sometimes, power-related issues can affect the functionality of electronic devices. Ensure that the player is receiving adequate power and there are no loose connections.
Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
  • Turn off the player and then turn it back on to see if it resolves the issue.
  • Try ejecting the disc using the manual eject button (if available). This button is usually a small pinhole near the disc slot. You can insert a paperclip or a similarly sized object into the hole to manually eject the disc.
  • If possible, try using a different disc to see if the problem persists. If other discs work fine, then the issue may be with the original disc.
  • Check for any visible obstructions around the disc slot and remove them if present.
  • If none of the above steps work, you may need to contact Alpine customer support for further assistance or consider taking the player to a qualified technician for repair.

Alpine tdm 7543. Is this a model that can switch from green to red lighting?

After researching, it appears that there is no direct evidence suggesting that the Alpine TDM 7543 stereo unit has the ability to switch from green to red lighting. This is an older unit and specific information can be challenging to find. Your best option to get a definitive answer may be to directly contact Alpine's customer service or refer to the original instruction manual.
