What is a pacifier?
"A pacifier (North American English), dummy (Britain and other Commonwealth countries), binky, or soother (in some countries) is a rubber, plastic, or silicone nipple given to an infant or other young child to suck upon. In its standard appearance it has a teat, mouth shield, and handle. The mouth shield and/or the handle is large enough to avoid the danger of the child choking on it or swallowing it." (Wikipedia)

Choose a baby monitor
- Choose a model with a frequency of 900 MHz or higher so that it will reduce the interference and increase the clarity
- Go wireless
- A video monitor
- A model with "low battery" indicator
- A model with a sound activated light so that it flashes when it detects noise
- The smaller the receiver, the more you can easily carry it around the house

I feel REALLY down, I Am Never Going To Get A Baby Girl?
Other
people would say, it does not matter what gender your baby will be and
that is a natural reaction but to some, this is a serious concern. Stop
worrying, Gender Selection Clinic
is the solution to your problem if you are really serious about it.
Technology and science have made it possible for people to get pregnant
and to choose the gender of their kids. The embryo gender selection IVF
is being performed by medical doctors around the world. This system has
been proven for decades. The success rate of having a girl is 93%. This
method though is a bit expensive but if you really want it, then the
cost would not be a problem to you. Both you and your husband must have
an open mind on this. Otherwise, it will create misunderstanding between
the two of you.

Which is the best baby care timer?
The most common baby care timer is the Itzbeen, which comes in three colors: blue, green and pink.
However, without having to spend about 25$ or more, if you have a smartphone you can download any Baby Care Timer app that will do the same job for you

When and how was the pacifier invented?
"The original "pacifier" was actually a corn cob, which was found to soothe a young baby by the wife of a farmer in 1680\'s England. The corn cob worked as a nice replacement for the mother\'s sore nipple, and it helped the baby to relax and fall asleep. In fact, in England in the 17th-19th centuries, a coral meant a teething toy made of coral, ivory or bone, often mounted in silver as the handle of a rattle.""Pacifiers were a development of hard teething rings, but they were also a substitute for the softer sugar tits, sugar-teats or sugar-rags which had been in use in 19th century America. A writer in 1873 described a "sugar-teat" made from "a small piece of old linen" with a "spoonful of rather sandy sugar in the center of it", "gathered ... up into a little ball" with a thread tied tightly around it.""Pacifiers were settling into their modern form around 1900 when the first teat, shield and handle design was patented in the US as a "baby comforter". Rubber had been used in flexible teethers sold as "elastic gum rings" for British babies in the mid-19th century, and also used for feeding-bottle teats. In 1902, Sears, Roebuck & Co. advertised a "new style rubber teething ring, with one hard and one soft nipple""(Wikipedia)
