Wacom (EP130EPE) Digital Pen Questions & Answers
Intuous pen "sticking"
Take out the "nib" and whack it on your desk (or drop it on the floor from 3 feet up). It re-seats the "nib" sensor when it's stuck. If this doesn't work, then the sensor may be too damaged.
How do you change the pen tip on a bamboo pen?
I posted this solution for a Toshiba Tablet PC that uses a Wacom tablet pen. I am rather confident that it will give you ideas on how to solve your problem.
With the stylus replacement tips there is an extraction tool: It looks like a wide ring split lengthwise.
You take the tool between thumb and index ( as you do a tweezer) and extract the worn out tip. Toshiba
warns against letting the tip wear out too much: this renders extraction difficult.
Once you have extracted the worn out tip, insert a new one with the thinner side towards the outside. Press gently but firmly to make sure it is holding.
My Wacom intuos 4 pen is not working - the cursor
I had the same problem. I had to make sure that the tablet is the only thing plugged into the usb ports of the compiter and restart it. At the time when it wasnt working, my iphone was plugged in. Once i unplugged it an restarted my laptop, it worked
Wacom pen does not function
Unfortunately I had the same problem.
Its from moisture in the pen, could be from humidity or something spilling on it. Try searching google for information on how to fix wet electronics. (Im quite sure youre not supposed to use heat)
My Wacom Bamboo Pen only
Go to the Control Panel, click on the Hardware and Sound link, click on the Bamboo link. Make sure you are on the "Pen" tab. Look on the bottom right for the "Tracking" section. Make sure the "Pen Mode" is selected. Click on the "Details" button, make sure "Portions" is not selected in any of the sections.
If you can't fix it in this section, then your best bet is to re-install.
My digital pen for my pen tablet(bamboo/wacom)
Try hitting the head of your pen into the palm of your hand 5 times and do the same with the eraser. Something about the humidity making the pressure thing in the pen stick idk. I had the same problem and this worked for me.
I just got a Wacom Bamboo fun tablet. Having
It's a driver clash issue apparently, this is a common problem, seems OK in XP, and bad, in anything else, seems to be either a driver issues, or some other software alters setting after it is installed, some people have had success by reinstalling as another User, and have ONLY that program running and nothing else that maybe working in background, also has something to do with USB 2 and settings too. try the very latest software and un-install completely your last copy.
Tablet Pen moves very slowly across the screen.
This may be a processor issue, as mine does this too.
As for others, most issues surrounding the stylus are battery related.
I will help anybody with a broken, or inoperative stylus/pen get their pen operating again. I have started a business around this issue because so many people's pens are malfunctioning (including mine originally which drove me to do this). This was fueled by Gateway's lack of caring around the issue, and their attempts to charge ridiculous fees for customer service. I charge $20 to switch out the battery to get your stylus working again, plus shipping and handling both ways, about $25 total.

Pen keeps drawing when I lift it off tablet
This problem commonly occurs due to a stuck "nib" sensor (the sensor that detects pen pressure).
Take out the "nib" (important, so the sensor isn't damaged further) and whack the pen on your desk (or drop it on the floor
from 3 feet up). It re-seats the "nib" sensor when it's stuck. If this
doesn't work after multiple attempts, then the sensor may be too damaged.
Pen sticking
In settings, turn Tip Feel all the way to maximum Firm.
Does this help?
Broken Wacom Bamboo Fun Pen

^ I believe this is exactly what you need to know. :3
I dropped my wacom tablet pen and now only the eraser is working!
...and it landed right on the tip, breaking the sensor, which could probably be tracked down and replaced.
... it landed on its side and has a mechanical malfunction which can be fixed by opening it and using careful observation and Yankee Engineering!
...or saving time, effort, and probably money, getting ahold of Wacom about a new one (BUT where's the FUN in THAT?)
GL!
