Cuisinart Dcc-2600 14-Cup Coffee Maker Questions & Answers
My Cuisinart dcc-2600 does not distribute the water.
Over time, Calcium will deposit on the tubes and containers which get in touch with water. This can clog the Percolating tube, resulting in low or slow water circulation.
The calcium can also impact the function of the Heating elements in the percolator tube.
Try Decalcifying with Designated Products.
Usually, you do this by diluting the product, fill up the water reservoir, and cycle on the machine, without cofee of course,
Pour out the water. It will probably look troubled.
If the water does not start percolating, just let the water reservoir stand with the decalcification product for about 30 mins. don't leave it in overnight, because these products are slightly caustic to remove the Calcium, but it could damage parts if left in the machine overnight.
Repeat the process until the water starts running faster.
don't forget to rinse with regular water. 2 Cycles rinsing should suffice.
See manual for suggested products or just use 1/4 cup of Vinegar diluted with Water. .
I would repeat this process every month or so if you use your machine daily.

Coffee maker
This model of coffee maker has an adjustable heating element beneath the carafe - ensure the temperature setting for the carafe is high enough to keep the coffee hot.
If the coffee is not brewing hot, the initial heating element/coil may have failed. Removal of the heating element is somewhat problematic and will require disassembly of the water container and base of the coffeemaker, and will likely need to replace the heating coil contained in a plastic sheath. Ensure you take a look at:

How to clean coffee stains on white coffee maker
Plastic can absorb Stains, so you will need to use some kind of bleaching poduct.
some products you can try individually:
- Baking soda
- Bleach
- Water
- Vinegar
- Rubbing alcohol
Dilute with luke warm water , except for Rubbing Alcohol
Use some kind of tray which you don't mind if it gets bleach stains to protect your countertop. put the device on the tray.
If you can't soak an item, try disconnecting the device, then wrapping a lightly soaked hand towel or paper towel over the area that is discolored
Rinse with luke warm water, and make sure device has completely dried before reconnecting.
Why do I get so many coffee grounds in my cuisinart on demand coffee maker?
Many times this is a result of the coffee grind. To overcome this with some brands, I use an additional filter, put the desired amount of coffee in it, and then fold the sides over to make an envelope. Place the folded sides down and brew coffee. If any of the coffee gets out, the second filter should catch it.
