The AL1000 drum unit is the same as the AL1641 drum.
I do not recognize the MS1DR as a sharp part number.
You can reset the drum indicator by pressing these keys in sequence:
Press "C" then press "Exposure Mode" then "C" again then "Exposure Mode" again.
Note that the Exposure Mode key is the far left key on the panel.
One you press these 4 keys in sequence the display should go blank. Then key in 24 as if to make 24 copies. Then press Print (Green Button)
Then key in 7 as if to make 7 copies.
Press print again. You should now get flashing 000.
Turn machine off then back on and the light should be gone.
Here it is in a short version:
C, far left, C, far left, 24, print, 7, print,
then power off and back on.
This should make the copier operational again if all you have is the drum light.

Entering in the simulation mode:press Clear - Interrupt - 0 - Interrupt -Main code - Start -Subcode - Start.
When the clear all key is pressed the simulation mode is cancelled.When the interrupt key is pressed,the proces is interrupted and the screen returns to the subcode entering display.After cancelling the simulation mode be sure to turn OFF/ON the power and check the operation.
Main code 20 subcode 1 =Maintenance counter clear.

it means you have a problem with fixing unit! i gues the problem is in the termistor witch controls the temperature of the unit!

Hi, Sounds like what you have is that the feed tires need to be cleaned or replaced. When it fails to feed a paper into the copier it thinks it is out of paper and will display out of paper.

drum or fusing assemby

If the spot appears in the same exact location, you should clean the copy glass but if the spots are in the random area at the same line you should check the drum seal of the drum unit. The seal purpose is to prevent the waste toner from spilling to the drum and copy paper

go to ara that has serveral setting for print set. or change the font it might be on a thick dark setting.

Check your primary and secondary dns entry.Also a return admin address is required.

l3 indicates that the lens didn't make it back to home position

Sometimes just a reset will fix, other times it is a problem in optic drive or sensors

to reset enter buttons clr, exposure, clr, exposure, (must be done quickly) the display will blank, enter 14, press prnt button, then clr several times to get out and thats it.

SOUNDS LIKE YOU NEED TO REPLACE THE TONER CARTRIDGE, THEY GO THRU LONGER WARM-UP PERIODS WHEN THE TONER GETS LOW AND IF YOU LET IT RUN YOU WILL SEE RED LIGHTS LIKE STACKED CANNON BALLS, WHICH MEANS ITS OUT OF TONER

H4 is a fuser roller heating issuse. The temperature isn't hot enough. May need new fuser roller assambly or a thermistor.

some machines will want all covers to be opened, then closed, for good reset. if you are having jams in the adf, then open all adf covers, and lift the adf upward, if it allows. also, try turning unit off, then back on. some jams only clear that way.
