You have to ask the store owner where you purchased it.

You must connect the battery with the charger separately in the main plug, when it flashes a red light, it's then busy charging and when it goes green after three to five hours of charging, then it's ready to be used. hope that will help.

Red when is when it's still busy charging, green shows when it's ready for use.

Have you try looking at a video on Youtube to show you how it's done?

I think they glue or melt it together, you have to break it apart.

Open the drill chuck and insert the drill, tighten.

if you have the fuse take it to the hardware store and buy one preferably a couple. incase you pop a few more.

My Ryobi 18V One+ charger blinks green while it's charging. When the battery is fully charged, the LED goes to a solid green. However, one battery recently had a faulty cell. After several hours on the charger, the green and red LEDs both were blinking. That indicated that the battery failed late in the charging sequence. It didn't fail the initial testing by the charger. The other battery I charged that day charged fine. The extended capacity batteries can take 12 hours to charge in my experience. The regular batteries take less time. The charge time will depend on the battery chemistry(The older NiCd batteries take longer to charge then the Lithium batteries.) I hope this helps. Assuming you aren't dealing with a cold or hot battery or charging environment, if you have any suspicion about a faulty battery, replace it. Cindy Wells (Note: I have a 12V drill as well. Most likely the charger is separate from the drill, but I didn't see a manual online. These are self locking jaws and its done up too tight. try undoing chuck by hand, then with a little more force wrap some cloth around chuck and try a pipe wrench around chuck. make sure you turn the right way or you'll make it worse. if no luck then take it to someone that works with tools and ask them to do it.

plug it in first, turn switch on, plug in battery. if still no lights then battery or charger is faulty. find someone with same gear and test, try other battery or other charger to work out which. If still under warranty take back to where you bought it from.

Try the battery in another Ryobi to see if it works. If it does not work it may have been effected when the trimmer burnt out. time to buy a new battery.

if your pole is getting too hot put some ice on it.

if its still under waranty then take it back to where you bought it and get them to fix or replace.

Check for clogs. Be very careful working around sharp tools.
