That serial number doesn't match any data on Epis. The E at the start is a problem, no known Epiphone serial numbers began with just an E and no other letter, but even lopping off the letter there is no match. Please check carefully.

I notice a repetition of some digits in this number, but as quoted it would be a guitar manufactured in Aug 2013, in China (factory unspecified), unit # 08913.

In addition that serial number does not match any Epi data. It might be "J1.........." but even then there are too many digits.
