HOW TO CHANGE INK RIBBON OR ROLLER
Once you open up the clear plastic cover, there is this tiny piece of black plastic at the right hand side, that's the ink roller unit (the ink roller is the bottom of the unit). You could try to remove it with your fingers. If you can't get it out, use a little screw driver and gently pop it out. You can find the replacement on eBay or other outlets, it is about $6 a piece (cheaper if you bulk-buy).
How do you remove p.e off screen
I have found (somewewhere on the web, sorry cant remember where) that it is only a power error ! So if you see the P.e the calculator doesnt received enough power... All you gotta do is to change the batteries!! Or plug it with the appropriated power cord :)
Enjoy!
How to change decimal point
If you want all entries and answers to have two numbers after the decimal, you should have a lever or slide that shows F,6,3,2,1,0. Some also show Add. Set the lever on the 2 or add. F means floating decimal. the others indicate how many numbers after the decimal.
P keeps appearing
Have same problem with the randomly appearing"P" and no end frustration with it. Tried loosening, (...the screws very extreemly tight), tried with no success, then tightened again, but still no success. Thanks, though, for the suggestion!
P.E will not go off
While your calculator is off, take the paper and plastic cover out as if you were going to reink the roller. You will see a metal bar. Carefully snap it out from the left side only, then carefully snap it back in. This reset my calcutaor and its back to normal. Hope this works for you ;)

Can you change the ribbon
Yes you can. That type of calculator has two separate ink rollers, one black & one red. They are easy to remove by putting your finger around the little ink roller & sliding it out towards you, the new one will lightly click into place. You can buy the sharp brand of ink rollers or a generic brand that will fit your calculator.
