I just got my new

Hi

As its new I would recommend you to get use warranty and get it repaired/replaced. However, if you still want to do this yourself then pull out the main wire box located inside the pad and then take it apart and use hair dryer to dry the electronic control board, this should work, however remember that opening it will void the warranty. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

Flashing f2 message

This means that the controller for the heating pad has a short. Water will cause the controller to short out. If water is spilled on the controller you can unplug the cord and take the controller apart and use a hair dryer to dry the controller out. If no water has been spilled on the controller you can take it apart to make sure all of the wires are still soldered in place.

My control mechanism has error message F1 now F2

My electric blanket had the same message and I could not find anywhere to answer question. Sunbeam said to look on th cord tag and this was no help. I finally pulled out the main wire box inside blanket and took apart to see if there was anything obvious. All solders looked fine but then I noticed a drop of water. Used a hair dryer to dry the electronic board, reassembled and it worked. Must have been a water short.

Control says FF?

What control, brand, model # etc.? An educated guess would be that you have a gas forced air system. FF would typically mean Flame Failure. Pull flame sensor, clean rod with steel wool until shiny again and reinstall. Your flame sensor will have one wire going to it. Located at the opposite side from the igniter. It will have a ceramic base with stainless steel probe protruding into the flame. Hope my guess helps.

Sunbeam Mix Master 10086659 (1970's ?) burning odor

There is chance that arcing brushes in the motor are causing the odor. They should be replaced and the armature cleaned. A sunbeam repair shop can refurbish your mixer if the parts are still available.

The remote on my Sunbeam heated matress pad won't come on I put in new batteries no help it worked fine last winter

Try these: -Make sure the remote battery contacts are clean; -clean fully charged battery surfaces with a lead pencil eraser to remove oxide; -could be loose contacts or cold solder joint on remote control board, especially if dropped a lot. if not tech savvy probably better to recycle old unit and purchase a new one . good luck!

I HAVE A DUAL CONTROL SUNBEAM BLANKET 85KQP GIVES A FF ERROR ON THE SCREEN OF BOTH CONTROLS AND I DO NOT HAVE THE INSTRUCTIONS TO RESET THE CONTROLS. SOMEONE WHO CAN HELP WITH THE PROBLEM THANKYOU

Try unplugging the power cord from the wall socket and check that the connection to the blanket is good and not loose. Then plug back into the wall socket and switch on. If error still occurs then there may be a problem with the blanket.
