You need to feed the belt around the tensioner first but release the tension from the tensioner. Place something under it to keep it from expanding open and the feed the belt onto the drum. If you get it started you can turn the drum and it will feed itself onto the drum. Once that is done, align the belt visually for straightness and gently release the tension. Voila

Remove the cover with the palm of your hand (twist counter clockwise).Unscrew the little bulb and replace with a similar type.

your best bet is to go directly to Westinghouse, the divison should be marked in the id tag on the fan along with model number. remember, you need the model, not serial number, but having both on hand when calling is useful.

as the wires for the lights come down through the shaft around which the fan spins and have to be connected to a separate light switch , this really is a job for an accredited electrician

From what you say, either the fan blades are not made for that fan or more probably someone got a replacement light fixture kit and it's not compatible. Is there a possibility that you can adjust the angle of the light fixture, i.e. are there 3-4 small lights that can be angled?

Don't know that fan but you might want to check to see if the light has a fuse somewhere.

First you have to take the wires from the old capacitor out of the pull chain switch(DO NOT CUT WIRES) by inserting a paper clip or something a little thicker, into the slot where the wires go to release the wire from the switch.
