Hi I'm looking for the manual for this fan. Where

One of the biggest complaints about this fan is that there is NO manual!
Not like Westinhouse but it's true. If you are having a particular problem, perhaps one of the people on FixYa can help if you post the nature of the difficulty you are having. The most commonly asked question is: "How do you remove the globe to replace the light? It's been answered:
http://www.fixya.com/support/t3128126-globe_turns_but_not_screw_out
If that is not your particular problem, again, try posting the specific problem so we can help.

I know this does not "solve" your problem, as such, but it may keep you from thinking no one here cares. There simply is no solution since there does not exist any manual.

Hope this helps. If it does, please leave feedback! That is the only way I know if I am being of assistance or just wasting my time.

Removing the globe for put bulb in

I found on mine that the bulb is held in with 3 tenshion clips. You just have to pull the globe down slowly to gain access to the light bulb.

I can't remove the globe

My fan has no screws. You simply twist and tug the globe (firmly but easily) and find that it is held on by three "tension clips" that hold the thing in place.

If you are nervous, have someone else get on the other side of the ladder and hold the fan steady while you twist/tug the globe with two hands.

I did it by myself but I would have liked another pair of hands holding the fan steady while I gently but firmly tugged at the globe.

3 speed ceiling fan

I could not understand that "all the three positions are on high speed and off" ? How can be it possible that all the (three) positions give high speed and at the same time no speed (off)? Please explain.
What I feel that the speed controller be in series with the fan. "in series" mean that the wire should come from phase or line, go to the speed controller , then go to the fan, then finally go to the neutral point. This completes the circuit.
I will be happy to know more about this if it could not solve your problem.

Where can I get an outlet box for my Westinghouse 78556 ceiling fan? It was missing in the fan I purchased.

There is no part like that in the fan kits. If you are talking about the box that is inside the ceiling with wires in it, you use the one that is already there IF IT WILL SUPPORT the weight of the fan. IF not you are going to have to get one or contact an electrician.
