Well there are only a couple of things that could cause this problem. However considering this all started when it was mounted consider the possibility you may have used screws that are too long and are is/are subsequently shorting something out.

if you don't hear a high-pitched whir, or you hear chirping or buzzing, you have a bad colorwheel. the lamp won't light if the colorwheel won't spin. another way to check the colorwheel: rmove the lamp and lamp door. there is an opening above the lamp housing with a silver switch actuator in it. use a small screwdriver and gently press it in until you hear it click and turn the projector on. in the small opening inside the lamp housing, you should see colored glass. if it spins whith a high-pitched whir, it works fine. if not, it's bad and you may have a ballast issue. while you're in there, make sure both fans work. if they don't, vthe high heat may be tripping the temp sensor. next, check the lamp. is there dust on the screen on the side of the lamp? if so, excessive dust and heat have shortened the life of your lamp. blow out the dust with canned air. lastly, if the colorwheel, fans, and lamp are ok, you have to replace the ballast/power supply board. the bad news: there are no longer parts available for the x1. you could try finding one on ebay that has a different issue and swap out parts. if you have an x1a, you're in luck. those you can get parts for.

first off, make sur you have the right lamp (sp-lamp-009, 2 white wires. not the sp-lamp-018, one white, one red. the wires are in different locations in the plug). if you don't hear the colorwheel whirring, that'd be the next step. however, you cannot buy just the colorwheel. infocus does not sell individual parts of the optical engine. but that wouldn't matter, seeing as how they don't sell the engine anymore. also make sure the lamp door is completely closed. there is a peg on it that activates a switch to let the projector know it's closed. if you remove the lamp and use a flat-head screwdriver to activate that switch, turn on the projector. look inside the lamp housing and see if the colorwheel spins. if not, i think you need a new projector. if it does, check the fans. they can be replaced.

yes indeed. that is the colorwheel. it spins and sincs with the dmd chip to give you color and an image. unfortunately, infocus does not sell individual parts for the optical engine. you will need to replace the entire engine (which is almost $2000). time to get a new projector.

Check if the fan on the Op panel side of the machine is running. Ensure the intake on left hand side of machine isn't blocked. Ensure rear vent on right hand back of machine is not blocked.

Have you set up the printer to print wireless? If so, if you have the computer and printer setup to work together, you should be able to turn the printer on and leave it on and print one job at a time. After it prints one job, it will stop and just be ready and waiting for you to send the next job. No need to turn off between jobs.

When the ink is run past low (to empty) the print head can get damaged. You can also try 2 consecutive DEEP CLEANINGs .. See 'maintenance' in printer driver under advance setting s

Was the monitor turned off separately from the computer? The monitor does have it's own on/off switch. If it's all connected to a surge protector both would normally turn off at the same time.

I suggest connecting the ethernet port on your Mac to the router and the router to your printer. You don't mention what printer you have (that would have been helpful) but I'm assuming it is networkable. Otherwise bypass the router and use a USB cable to connect it directly to your Mac in the usual fashion.
