you need this unit to be service, we need to remove back cover and trace ckt board for possible defective parts and lost contact. just advice we can do this.

If you are having reoccurring solder quality issues... Replace it and have your new TV delivered... that way they can take the old one out. This TV is heavy... save your back. TV tubes are only estimated to have a 7 year life anyway. I hope this was helpful.

Replace Both of your STK ICs and 7 resistors.

Ur convergence is dead.Must replaced 2 convergence ICS and all it resistors.The shop well cost u $300 for parts and labors.If u Know how to solders?Buy aconvergence kit at Tv repair World.com,Tvrepairkits.com for parts repair it ur self.

For normal bulb replacement, there should be no need in replacing the ballast. Just be sure to put everything back like it was after changing the bulb. There are interlock switches that must be right for the set to come on. Thanks for using fixya.

usually the lamp unit causes this. however it can be the projection unit. replace lamp unit with used one to save on trouble shooting

The best way to transport the TV is standing up with the front secured to a 'side' of vechile. If you don't have that choice lay the TV down on it's face. With both make sure you have plenty of moving blankets.The side would be my last resort because of stability. DO NOT LAY ON BACK!!!!
